Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 | #3 National Hero

(It's not that I care, but let's see him in action.)

Mato inserted his hands in his pocket and watched the hero in action.

"Watch out, villain!" shouted Oro, "because Oro the Glimmer is here to arrest you!"

(He seems pretty confident...) thought Mato, (no wonder, he's #3 National Hero.)

The villain attacked Oro, but the hero easily dodged.

"My turn!"

Oro's punch got wrapped in light, and shortly after, it collided with the villain's guts, who spat blood.

(I felt pain for him...) thought Mato.

Oro delivered a Powerful jab to the villain's jaw.

(He's probably a D-Tier villain, he can't hope to win.)

"Why don't you use your Quirk?" asked Oro.

"You asked me," said the villain. He spat poison, barely hitting Oro.

"A poisonous Quirk!" he exclaimed, "it's a good Quirk!"

Oro created a light barrier around him.

"It's not just a poisonous Quirk," said the villain, "it melts everything it touches."

"You are strong!" laughed Mato.

(Why is he complimenting him?) wondered Mato, (he's a villain, he should arrest him...)

With a swift kick on the face, Oro knocked the villain off.

"You've just been Oro'd!" exclaimed the hero.

(Oh, right, his catchphrase...)

Shortly after, the police arrived and arrested the villain. Oro got cheered by people.

"Yeah! We love you, Oro!"

"You're the best!"

"You should be #1!"

"Thanks, everyone!" exclaimed Oro, "always remember: Plus Ultra!"

Oro jumped high and disappeared from view.

(He really is strong...) thought Mato, sighing, (unfortunately though, I chose the path of the villain.)

Mato climbed a roof and sat down.

(To be honest, sometimes I wonder if I really am a villain... I mean, I didn't have a choice, All For One found me as a kid, so it's like I'm born evil... I never acted as a villain, and I don't feel at all... tch, let's not think about it...)

Suddenly, from behind, Mato felt a presence.

"Satoru Akiyama, right?"

Mato turned and saw a guy, with a red scarf, black hair, and bandages on the arms.

"Who're you?" Mato asked.

"Stain," answered the guy.

"Call me Mato," said the boy, "what do you want?"

"You're a villain, right?" asked Stain.

"Kinda," answered, "why?"

"Gotta ask you a question," said Stain, "what do you think about this generation of heroes?"

"They're heroes, I guess?" said Mato, "they do their job well."

"You're wrong," said Stain, "I'm a Anti-Hero, and my goal is to all of the fake Heroes out there. Do you want to join me?"

"Normally, I would," said Mato, "I always want to help other villains like me, but... I've got another mission."

"What mission?" asked Stain again.

"Ever heard about U. A. High?"

"Yup."

"I must infiltrate Inside. All For One's orders."

"All For One?"

"My boss."

"Oh, right. See you around, Satoru."

"Call me Mato, they might hear you."

Stain left.

"Weirdo..." whispered Mato, "but... how does he know my

name?"

__________

Two months later...

The day had finally arrived. Mato was sitting on a roof, lying down.

(April... the month has come. The real question is... how do I enter U. A? AFO told me I must pass an entrance exam, but... how?)

(Nevermind, I'll Just go there and see what happens.)

Slowly, the boy got up and cracked his neck.

(Where the fuck is the U. A?)

Mato quickly unlocked his phone and searched on Google where U. A. High School was.

"EEEEHHH? MUSUTAFU!?" he yelled, "I'LL NEVER ARRIVE ON TIME!"

Like a flash, Mato generated two boots with Rockets made of Shadow and flew to Musutafu.

"They could've at least told me U. A. was this distant!"

Fortunately, the exam would have started in five hours, so fortunately, Mato had enough time to reach Tokyo.

After five hours, Mato leapt on the floor and hid behind a wall, panting heavily...

"I'm... I'm here..." he said in ragged gasps, "next time I see AFO, I'll kill him... I'll make him pay for nottelling me this school was in Tokyo... And it's been two months since that day!"

When Mato came out from his hideout, he bumped into someone.

"Sorry 'bout that," he said.

"No worries, little kid!"

Mato looked up and saw someone he already knew: Oro.

"You're Oro, right?"

"Yeah, it's me!"

"Whoa, I just bumped into the Third National Hero..."

"So? Aren't you going to ask me a photo or and autograph?"

"Oh, yeah, uhm... maybe a photo?"

Oro and Mato took a picture together.

"Thanks, Oro-san."

"Don't worry! What's your name?"

"Hideki Shirakawa."

"Oh, I see! Are you going to the entrance exam of U. A?"

"Yep."

"Good luck, then!"

"Thanks."

"You're welcome! Now I gotta go, duty calls me! And always remember: Plus Ultra!"

Oro jumped high and disappeared, raising a bunch of dust that made Mato sneeze.

"I don't know why," said Mato, "but I didn't feel excited at the thought of meeting a hero..."

The boy looked at his picture with Oro.

"But I'll keep this picture anyway, so I can flex it with my classmates."

Finally, Mato got in front of U. A., and saw a lot of other people.

(They're all eager to enter this school... AFO hasn't told me yet what to do after entering U. A., but I guess he'll do later on...)

Mato clutches his grey scarf and covered his mouth with it.

(At least, I hope there are cute girls in this school... I need a girlfriend, or I'll die from loneliness...)

(Yeah, it's true, I like Himiko-chan a bit, but does she like me back? I don't think so. She only asks me to drink my blood.)

Mato took a few steps forward and finally entered inside U. A.

(Will anyone find out I'm a villain? Nah, They won't. The good part of not being famous is that you can go whenever you want without being recognized.)

(U. A. High School, I hope you're ready, because a new, powerful threat is going to destroy you from the Inside!)
