"It's taeyong's birthday after three days... and I still have no idea what to give him as a present" Hoshi whined on call with joshua while lying on his bed comfortably.
"I was about to call you for the same but you just beat me by one second" joshua said laughing over his and hoshi's condition making the Korean male laugh too.
"You are in America so buy something good, something that is not available in korea for now" Hoshi suggested to which joshua hummed before speaking again.
"There are many things coming in my mind right now, making it hard for me to choose one" joshua replied earning a long whine from hoshi who is in similar situation.
"Why it is so difficult to choose a birthday present?" Hoshi complained as he has run out of ideas after buying too much presents for his friends on their birthdays.
"True. How about asking coups or doyoung? They are also very close to tae so perhaps they will be able to help." Joshua said to which hoshi rolled his eyes before sighing.
"Doyoung said be a good friend and decide it by yourself and about coups he said he himself have no idea" Hoshi said mimicking the way doyoung spoke perfectly earning a laugh from the American male.
"I don't believe that coups said he have no idea. He is the one who usually come up with plans and idea before any of us especially if it's taeyong's birthday"
joshua said finding it absurd and so does hoshi because s.coups is usually the most exicted about birthday celebrations of his friends, most specially of jeonghan.
Taeyong and woozi's and always plan everything beforehand so seeing him being so inactive this time is really weird and questionable.
"I know and it's weird, unlike other times coups seems like he have zero interest in looking forward to taeyong's birthday bash"
"I had talked to him last night and he sounded like he isn't even sure whether he would attend the party or not"
"That's really strange. Feel like tae and coups are having some troubles with each other"
"I think so too... well we can't meddle into their bussiness let them sort the things out by themselves for now the major issue is the gift"
"Don't remind me of that" Hoshi said rolling his eyes before speaking up again after a short silence.
"I should ask yuta to help me" Hoshi said and joshua smirked on the other side in a teasing manner but lucky for hoshi that he is unable to see it.
"So what I am hearing about you and him is true huh?" Joshua said making hoshi to became a shy mess sitting straight on the bed he realised he shouldn't had bought yuta's name in front of joshua.
"What?" Hoshi asked unsure about what the American make has heared and even if he did then the main question is by whom?
"That you guys are getting close with each other to a point that you can't stop smiling and complementing my new neighbour whenever his name is mentioned and oh not to forget how possessive you are getting over him that you can't stand If someone start gushing over him in front of you"
joshua spilled the tea and the silence from other side was enough for him to realise that hoshi was probably dying in embrassment.
"Haechan and doyoung told you that isn't it?" Hoshi guessed right as they are the only ones who do such things with the intentions of making hoshi jealous and even though he knows it well hoshi falls for it everytime.
"You are down bad for him hosh. Just accept it" joshua said feeling happy for his friend to finally got someone to think about besides his work, family and friends.
"Is it that obvious?" Asked hoshi rubbing his nape in embrassment to which joshua giggled.
"It is and for your information everyone of us can sense that" joshua informed and hoshi was a bit surprised by the sudden revelation but then went back to normal after reminding himself of how big his friend circle is and how nothing can remain hidden from his friends for long.
"You guys are ok with it?"
"What?"
"Me liking a male?" Hoshi said with the feeling of unassurance and fear even though he know his friends are highly supportive of each other and are very open-minded and hoshi should have nothing to be scared about he can't help but have some doubts.
"Of course idiot! In fact we are actually very happy for you and what made you think we will judge you? We have always been ok with our friends or even anyone dating someone from same gender isn't it?"
"I know but you know saying that we are ok with it and actually being ok are two different things" Hoshi said with seriousness sounding visible in his voice and joshua hummed agreeing to hoshi.
"True. And we are actually OK with that. if we weren't then we wouldn't take the ship jokes about us too lightly isn't it? Are you forgetting how you guys used to ship me with ten and coups with taeyong?"
"I do and for your information I still ship tae and coups" Hoshi said smiling to himself remembering of the time how each and everyone in his friend circle were dying over these two ships not until joshua had finally put a end into his and ten being a couple rumour.
"Well me too and I guess all of us are still shipping them"
"They are awesome together. Like a power couple"
"Indeed. And now we are shipping you and yuta too" joshua said making hoshi turn red in shyness.
"So when are you going to tell him about how you feel?" Joshua asked straightforwardly as he just don't know how to beat around the bush earning a murmur from hoshi.
"I want to but I am not sure. what if he said no? Then it will even ruin my friendship with him."
"Aren't you the same guy who believes in trying rather than worrying about how will it go? You are one of the most optimistic person in our group hosh. Just give it a try if it didn't work out then it's ok, there are many who got their heart broken once in lifetime but they all are living aren't they? Don't worry too much boy we have got your back."
Hearing joshua's word hoshi first smiled over how oblivious joshua is when it comes to matter of heart as this guy haven't find himself in such situation yet and then smiled thankfully to the American male.
who actually put some courage into him and made hoshi remember no matter what happens he have his friend circle to lean on when things became hard and he considers extremely blessed to have these next level choas makers as his friends.
"You are right... after taeyong's birthday celebration I'll confess to yuta."
"That's like my boy" said joshua making hoshi laugh out loud and that's how they went on talking for another half an hour in order to came up with the idea of what to give taeyong as the present.

"Place it there! God! What the heck should i do with you hyuck?" Renjun shouted for the ninth time on his friend name haechan or donghyuck over how he can't get renjun's instruction right and keep on misplacing the position of a showpiece.
"Sorry" haechan smiled apologetically to renjun's who was busy fixing the wardrobe putting useless things out.
"Winwin hyung is coming tommorow evening and I want the place to look clean and presentable so hurry up and fix this room we gotta clean the kitchen too"
Renjun said in a hurry some tone putting the waste material inside the cardboard before taking it on his hands and moving out of the room which was used to belong to haechan till today's morning but now will be used as a guest room for winwin during his period of stay.
Haechan whining out loud as a kid, followed renjun to the living room stomping his feet on the ground harshly almost looking like he was about to cry because of too much annoyance.
And irritation getting over him about two things; first renjun has kicked him out of his own room and making haechan clean the entire house from the evening till now.
Not letting him take enough rest and second is the realisation that renjun is about to go back to China after three days.
"Can't we just sleep? The cleaning is almost done and about the kitchen we can clean it tommorow morning too afterall winwin hyung will come in evening" haechan said making renjun heave a long sigh before turning back to answer haechan.
"I have to go to cafe tommorow that's why either clean the kitchen right now with my help or clean the kitchen, buy groceries and vegetables all by yourself tommorow. Choice is yours"
Renjun said and feel proud of himself the moment he saw haechan's shocked face turned into the face of a defeated warrior having nothing to say haechan murmured something to himself before moving to the kitchen.
Followed by renjun after couple of minutes later who was feeling a bit guilty for making haechan work till now but it's his fault too as he never listened to renjun's advise of keeping the house clean leading to such vigorous work now.
"Wish winwin hyung wasn't coming tommorow" haechan thought to himself cursing at his luck.
