Execution Streak - 1
Xavier's figure moved to the next awakener instinctively. After fighting so many battles, he used all of his strength in each attack to perform a perfect execution. The streak, which had reset to zero after he had exited combat, once again started going upwards.
A faint purple aura emerged from deep within, enhancing all of his attributes by 1%.
The enhancement wasn't much, but it would only increase as the execution streak continued to go up.
Xavier was a true battle god with this streak; the longer he fought, the stronger he would become.
Before they could properly register the death of the first awakener, the head of the second also flew upwards.
[Ding! You have absorbed Soul Record of Human Level 6.]
Execution Streak - 2
It was only when the second head rolled to the ground that Aron and the others finally reacted.
Aron felt a chill run down his spine. Instinctively, he roared back, "You monster! How can you kill a fellow human?!"
He acted as if he wasn't the one who went to kill Xavier first.
Xavier, while running toward the woman, internally shook his head with disgust rising in his heart. To think he was breathing the same air as a hypocrite like him.
It was at this time a soft chuckle echoed in his head. Keke, if you evolve and reach the First Sequence, you won't need to breathe—a simple solution.
Zerin sounded partially pleased for some reason, as if watching Xavier killing fellow humans greatly pleased her.
After hearing her words, Xavier had the urge to summon her and help him in the fight, but he shook his head almost immediately.
It would be better if he took care of this matter on his own.
Millie looked completely stunned; the situation was changing fast for her.
Meanwhile, in Xavier's head, another cold but familiar voice reverberated. There is no need to go this far. Just leave.
Xavier was surprised for a moment, turning his head around only to see Jackie looking directly at him, her eyes cold and emotionless.
Just leave, huh! How generous of you. As if I didn't want to. As if these people would simply allow me to leave.
Of course they would not.
Just at this time, a slightly angry voice echoed. "Damn, I should have known it from the start. A bunch of useless clowns. To think four of you were not able to deal with a single man..."
Captain Mia was filled with anger. She came straight charging toward Xavier's figure, smoke coming out of her entire body as if she was about to ignite.
The magic fluctuations emitting out of her caused Aron's eyes to lit up; he instinctively knew she was incredibly strong. Her mana attribute should be around 50-60... I still have a chance.
The ice below Captain Mia's feet instantly melted, turning into water vapor flying away.
"Just because you were lucky enough to get your hands on some power, did you really think you are unstoppable? Let me show you what real power is."
"Fire Inferno!"
Following her cry, Captain Mia's surroundings were filled with scorching hot flames. The flames were so hot the bodies of the two headless awakeners instantly turned to ash. Millie and Jackie only survived because they managed to escape in time.
On the other hand, a wide smile appeared on his face. "Oh really...! Did you think your flames could stop me?!"
What a joke. If it was before he faced the Fire Breathing Tiger, it might be troublesome, but now... What a joke. Can her flame match the First Sequence Tiger?
Xavier took one step forward, his figure arriving in front of Captain Mia like a ghost. Without any reservation, he punched with all his strength!
"How?!" Captain Mia's eyes widened like saucers. However, before she could react properly, Xavier's fist made contact with her stomach.
Puchi! An arrow of fresh blood escaped out of her throat, her body bent in a C-shape, sent flying backward.
Xavier didn't bother paying further attention to her. It seems she had used most of her unassigned attribute points to pump Mana up; as such, her other attributes seemed really lacking, like Health.
As soon as the fist had connected, he had felt her ribs rupturing. It would be a miracle if she is able to get up after that punch!
"Now let me deal with you, treacherous bastard..."
The next moment he turned toward Aron, the muscles in his body taut as stretched bowstrings, ready to erupt with the greatest speed possible at any moment's notice.
Execution Streak - 0
Seeing this message, his figure froze. She survived... how?
The fact that he wasn't able to kill his enemy in a single attack caused the streak to reset to zero.
But now was not the right time to think about all these things; his eyes once again locked onto Aron's figure.
Xavier's gaze caused Aron to let out a terrified yelp; after all, he had just watched Captain Mia blasted to the shadow realm.
"No, no, don't come near me!"
Aron slowly backed away, an ice wall materializing between him and the incoming Xavier.
Xavier only frowned and punched with all his strength!
Like a hammer striking a mirror, the ice wall instantly broke into fragments, ice crystals flying in every direction.
While backing away, Aron turned to the watching onlookers and loudly shouted.
"All of you help me! Otherwise, after me, it's your turn..."
He tried his best to turn the crowd against Xavier, but it seemed to have little effect.
Standing on top of the wall, Commander Jackson watched the fight along with Dr. Mike, a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Dr. Mike, do you have any ideas how is he able to remain sane with this level of Abyssal Corruption? Shouldn't he be going mad, turning into a monster?"
Dr. Mike fixed his glasses and said in an unsure tone, "Hmm, this is indeed very strange. I have never seen a case like this before. He should have turned into an Abyssal Demon by now, but for some reason he seems completely fine..."
After saying these words, he turned to Commander Jackson and said in a deep voice.
"If we can get our hands on his body, our understanding of the Abyssal Creatures might increase greatly."
"As expected of you, Dr. Mike..." Commander Jackson chuckled and said in a low voice.
"Tell that monstrous woman, if she can help us deal with this man, we will allow her to communicate with her family."
Those words caused Dr. Mike's eyes to light up. If that woman took action, Xavier was not going anywhere.
After all, no matter how strong he was, against a First Sequence Warrior, what could he even do?
