Author's Note:
Before Pony, Aliens, and Kamen Rider (temporarily) took over my imagination, I promised my readers I'd write this story, and I'm keeping my promise. Even if it takes me a long time to do so.
Ps. I bought myself the special Amiya Skin, [In A Myriad of Universes], it's not something I do, but I deserve a real gift for Christmas/New Year.

POV Narrator
Not far from a frontier journey that is being attacked, a knight in full armor stands before a pair of sisters, his sword raised high.
This is not the scenario where a knight protects innocents from an attack by bandits, but the scenario where an enemy soldier comes to destroy and pillage, exterminating the population in the process.
The knight prepares to earn his pay by killing two girls unable to fight who only wanted to escape and hide in the forest.
The older sister, Enri, squeezed her eyes shut and bit her lower lip, cursing her bad luck.
Enri never wanted to end up in a situation like this. If only she were stronger or at least knew some fighting moves, she could have fought a single knight or at least kept him occupied while her younger sister escaped.
Unfortunately, Enri often spends her life working in the fields and doing housework, so she has no chance against the knight.
The knight raises his sword high and brings it down, delivering a blow that would end Enri's life.
But...
BANG!
An unfamiliar sound appeared in Enri's ears without warning and the pain never came.
The older sister opened her eyes with some hesitation, not being able to know what was happening.
Enri's brown eyes see how the knight's helmet has suffered some sort of damage, a few seconds later the knight falls down on his back.
The first thing he saw was the suddenly motionless longsword.
"Good shot, Liskarm." A female voice declares.
"Franka, at this distance it was easy to hit the target." said a second female voice.
Enri couldn't help but turn towards the direction the voices were coming from.
While doing so, Enri saw a strange group of three individuals who were definitely not human.
A woman with fox ears and tail, dressed in gray, armed with an elegant rapier.
A woman with horns and a lizard-like tail, dressed in black and blue, holding a shield in one hand and a strange L-shaped object in the other.
Between the two women is an intimidating figure dressed in a long, hooded cloak.
Enri remains silent and holds her younger sister in her arms, unable to do anything else.

Kazdel is a Terran country once situated in the region that now encompasses the modern-day Bleached Wasteland.
A monarchy at its core, Kazdel is the sole homeland of the Sarkaz, a scattered diasporic race that faces widespread demonization across the world.
The nation is considered the "Promised Land" of the Sarkaz, ruled by the "King of Sarkaz," a messianic figure believed to have the power to ease the suffering of the "myriad souls" — a collective consciousness of deceased Sarkaz.
Kazdel's history is long and bloody—the nation has been destroyed twice and is on the verge of being destroyed a third time—but the Sarkaz are tough to kill, especially when united.
The crusade of 898 led to the near-third documented destruction of Kazdel, with an alliance of three nations sharing a common goal despite their enmity: to execute the then-powerless king of Sarkaz.
This crusade, which took place approximately two hundred years ago, was one of the bloodiest conflicts ever, marking a dark moment in the history of the Sarkaz.
Towards the end of the crusade against Kazdel, King Yliš died in battle, but in his place emerged Seven Heroes who marked a turning point in the war.
The Seven Heroes of Kazdel are:
- Nezzsalem, the Nachzehrer King.
- Laqeramaline, the Great Banshee.
- Fremont, the Lich King.
- Cocytus the Goliath Warrior.
- Theresis, the High General of the Royal Army.
- Theresa, the Royal Seamstress and student of Nezzsalem.
- Erik, the Elven Archdruid.
Thesis and Theresa, brother and twin sister, will lead the royal armies of Sarkaz into battle, alongside the rest of those who would be remembered by history as the Seven Heroes of Kazdel.
Despite the fact that the royal armies of Kazdel were technologically and numerically outclassed by the enemy coalition, they managed to repel the enemy army, saving their country from destruction.
But this turnaround in the war was made possible by surprise reinforcements, a fleet of airships, built in secret by Erik and his supporters.
But this turnaround in the war was made possible by surprise reinforcements in the form of a fleet of airships, built in secret by Erik and his supporters.
Instead of the usual Originium-based weapons, the air fleet was armed with the first mass-produced Magitek cannons. These weapons were crucial to turning imminent defeat into a hard-fought victory.
In the aftermath of the war, both Theresa and Theresis were anointed by the Black Crown as the next Kings of Sarkaz.
Unexpectedly, Theresis voluntarily relinquished the crown to Theresa rather than sharing the throne, instead vowing to serve as her protector.
In the years following Kazdel's victory, Theresa had worked with Theresis, Erik, and the Royal Court of Sarkaz to rebuild the nation of Kazdel into something unique, one that would be unmatched.
In this period of modernization, or rather, a far-reaching industrial and scientific revolution, three prominent figures had appeared: Theresa, Theresis, Erik.
Theresa, the new King of the Sarkaz, considered the heart of the movement and the most popular with the people.
Theresa is a just ruler, renowned for her kindness and diplomatic skills, as well as being one of the most powerful users of Originium Arts in the country.
His progressive policies were crucial in rebuilding Kazdel, reducing xenophobia among younger generations toward foreigners, and opening mutually beneficial trade agreements.
Theresis, High General and brother of the king, considered the sword and shield of the Theresa movement, considered the most feared and respected of the three pillars of the new era for Kazdel.
Theresis, being one of the strongest warriors and the leader of all Kazdel armies, was the one who kept the more radical elements of the new government in line, as well as preventing foreign influences from setting foot in his country.
Finally, Erik, the brain behind the entire modernization process of Kazdel.
Erik is the only one of the Seven Heroes who is not a Sarkaz, which has caused certain problems for the more conservative and paranoid people.
Although Erik is an elf, a rare and endangered race, he was found and raised by a pair of pure-blood Sarkaz, and his actions during the war have made him considered one of them in the eyes of the majority.
But it was his actions after the war that made him considered a vital and irreplaceable asset to Kazdel and the entire Sarkaz people. Simply put, the Archdruid is a peerless genius, who single-handedly invented a new branch of science, Magitek, and used it to improve the entire Kazdel.
The diplomat, the warrior, and the scientist/sorcerer, the three pillars who, in nearly two hundred years, transformed a nearly destroyed nation into a new power in the eyes of the entire world.

The year is 1094, 196 years have passed since the crusade that threatened Kazdel. Now, in place of the old capital, the King of the Sarkaz rules his people from the Colossus of Babel.
The new capital is an autonomous and mobile fortress city.
Spanning a mere couple of kilometers and equipped with automated weapons and other defensive measures, the Colossus of Babel is designed to be completely self-sufficient and maintain functionality in any situation, even when damaged or completely cut off from external support or supplies.
To this end, it is equipped with multiple redundant systems and features, including, but not limited to: 5 separate main reactors, each powerful enough to power the ship's emergency systems, along with several sets of auxiliary reactors to provide additional power, multiple armories and drone bays strategically distributed throughout the ship to maximize defensive coverage, a set of production bays capable of producing all necessary supplies, and several sets of autonomous hydroponic bays to provide the food necessary to sustain the personnel.
In this mobile fortress city, Theresa is holding a private meeting with her most appropriate lieutenants.
XXX
The King of the Sarkaz, Theresa, is a beautiful woman, 164 centimeters tall, with long pale pink hair, two long, thin, straight black horns emerge from the sides of her head.
The woman's eyes are a light pink, perfectly matching her hair. Beyond their color, they convey kindness, sadness, wisdom, and above all, confusion and wonder.
This woman wears a simple, yet elegantly aristocratic white dress, with black sections around the neck and sleeves.
A small detail of the dress is a small diamond-shaped neckline, positioned between the black and white sections of the dress.
Above the left shoulder is a piece of light armor, silver in color with a small black diamond-shaped decoration, this piece of armor is crafted to be a piece of art.
Above the heart area there is an accessory in the shape of an X with a round orange stone in the center, two small silver cylinders are present on the X, one down and one up.
On the woman's bare hands are ten simple silver rings.
Finally, she wears black boots, with frills, silver soles and a silver diamond-shaped buckle.
Theresa sits at the head of a large round table, with a clock behind her that reads 11:59 PM.
Around the table are Theresa's "lieutenants," the people she trusts most and who contributed to the creation of Colossus of Babel: Kal'tsit, Wiš'adel, Doctor, Ascalon, Logos, Closure, Erik.
Before beginning her speech, Theresa cast a silent glance at the famous Kazdel elf, Erik Colchis Arcadia.
As usual, the elf is dressed as if he were a witch/warlock from a fairy tale, wearing a blue-purple hooded robe, which hides his face.
"I know it's rather late for a meeting, so I thank you for your presence. Some of my contacts have revealed that the Empire of Ursus is making suspicious movements," Theresa said, worried that the nation that despises the infected might do something against her people and the people who have sought refuge under its flag.
At that moment, the clock hands struck midnight, and then the Colossus of Babel and all its inhabitants disappeared from the surface of planet Terra.

Author's Note:
I hope you enjoyed this introductory chapter, even if it's a bit short for my tastes, but my winter holidays are almost over and the end-of-semester exams are about to begin.
Anyway, I want to say two things:
Number one, I tried, but I couldn't help but put some elements of Type-Moon into the MC.
Number two, I've decided that the Floor Guardians of Nazarick will have counterparts within Colossus of Babel.
They will not be living calamities that can easily destroy countries, but in terms of appearance and personality they will be quite similar to the originals and will have high positions within the Royal Court of Kazdel or among the ranks of the army.
