Chapter 1 - Uchiha Leon

Konoha Year 47 — March 6

A small grove on the outskirts ofKonohagakure

Two figures flashed through the trees like shadows, trading blows so fast the air itself seemed to crack. Each collision rang out with a deep, thunderous boom—loud enough to shake leaves loose and snap trunks in half.

BANG!

A heavy impact landed clean.

A boy in a green bodysuit—thick brows, bowl cut—skidded back dozens of steps, plowing through several trees before he finally stopped, chest heaving.

Across from him stood a handsome youth in a black combat bodysuit, layered white armor strapped over it in stacked plates. He casually rubbed his knuckles, lips curling into a faint smile.

"Guy," he said, unhurried. "You lost again."

The thick-browed boy sprang up like he'd been launched, teeth flashing in a grin bright enough to blind someone.

"Youth is made of hot blood! I won't be discouraged!" he declared. "Leon—again!"

"Nope." The other boy pulled out a white mask and slipped it over his face. The moment it covered his features, his voice went flat—professional. "I've got work. I need to clock in."

He tilted his head slightly, like a supervisor giving an order.

"Your taijutsu still isn't strong enough. Add three thousand push-ups today."

"Okay!" Might Guy beamed, thrusting up his thumb in an overly dramatic pose. "Youth burns brightest in training! Starting today, I'm going all in!!"

Leon simply nodded, the mask hiding whatever expression he might've had.

Then Guy's grin faded—rare for him.

"Leon," he said seriously, "are you really going to keep living like this? Avoiding real missions for the village?"

"I patrol the streets every day," Leon replied, shrugging like it was obvious. "That's serving Konoha."

"You… you…!" Guy shook his head in frustration, like someone watching a genius waste his own potential. Then, as always, the sunshine smile returned.

What could he say?

Guy genuinely considered Leon a friend.

He had another friend too—someone the whole village called a prodigy.

Hatake Kakashi.

Graduated the Academy at five. Genin at five. Chūnin at six. Jōnin at twelve.

But lately, even Kakashi had been… hollow.

The battle at Kannabi Bridge—the loss of Nohara Rin and Uchiha Obito—had carved something out of him. After returning to Konoha, he'd sunk into a quiet slump that didn't lift.

And Leon?

Leon and Kakashi were the same generation.

Leon had also graduated at five—Genin at five, Chūnin at six… yet he'd never even taken the Jōnin promotion exam.

Guy knew the truth, though.

Leon already had Jōnin-level strength.

Back during the Chūnin Exams, Leon's talent had shocked everyone. Offers came one after another—ANBU, Root, even the Sannin. Orochimaru and Jiraiya had both reached out.

And then Leon made a choice that set the village buzzing:

He joined the Konoha Military Police Force.

To most people, it made no sense. The Police were village security—patrols, disputes, peacekeeping. For someone like Leon, it looked like burying a blade in a drawer.

In the end, because he was an Uchiha, everyone who'd shown interest… quietly let it go.

Time passed.

Kakashi went from battlefield to battlefield, mentored by the man known as the Yellow Flash—Namikaze Minato.

Meanwhile,  Uchiha Leon had seemingly "faded into the crowd."

If not for the old rumors about his talent, plenty of people might've forgotten his name entirely.

Part of it was simple: Konoha had too many geniuses.

The other part?

Leon had spent these years being far too low-key.

"Alright," Leon said, rolling his shoulders. "I'm heading out."

As he turned, he added—almost like a casual warning:

"Next time we fight… I expect your taijutsu to be better."

Guy straightened, energized again. "It will be! I promise!"

He struck another pose and immediately dropped to the ground, starting push-ups right there.

Leon didn't watch for long.

—Whoosh—

He vanished.

No dramatic flare. No showy sound. Just a clean blur, as if he'd been erased from the grove.

Leon wasn't originally from this world.

He'd been here for over a decade.

His parents had died on a mission. And when he realized he'd been reborn into the Uchiha clan…

He'd honestly felt despair.

He knew the story.

He knew the clan's fate.

He knew how thoroughly the so-called Will of Fire could swallow people like Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Itachi.

So from childhood, Leon trained like his life depended on it—because it did.

With mental discipline and awareness far beyond his peers, he tore through the Academy. Genin at five. Chūnin at six.

At first, the plan was simple: keep a low profile, pretend he'd "accepted" the village's ideology, then enter ANBU under the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi—staying close enough to power to survive, while avoiding the wrong kind of attention from men like Danzō or Orochimaru.

But right as he became Chūnin…

Something unexpected happened.

He awakened a God-tier Sign-In System.

Sign in anywhere, receive a random reward.

Set a place as a permanent sign-in point.

And if he signed in at locations marked by the system's refresh, the rewards would be even better.

So Leon made his decision immediately.

He set Konohagakure as his permanent sign-in location.

And he changed his entire path.

No pointless political games in ANBU. No leash held by the Third Hokage.

Instead, he joined the Konoha Military Police Force.

But he wasn't stupid enough to attract attention.

He didn't rise fast. He didn't make noise. He didn't collect enemies.

He clocked in and out every day like an ordinary officer… while quietly growing stronger through training and sign-ins—watching, waiting, and letting time do the work.

Back in the grove, Guy's voice rang out again, full of fire.

"Leon! I'LL SURPASS YOU SOMEDAY!"

—Whoosh—

Somewhere in the distance, Leon seemed to sense it. Beneath the mask, the corner of his mouth lifted—barely.

Then he disappeared into the village's shadows.
