'Why did I agree to meet her again? This is such a waste of time…'
Liam told himself as he stood straight and dusted off his clothes once more. Any second now, Baron Conner and his daughter would arrive. Liam just needed to spend a little time with her and then send her back… possibly.
The carriage arrived in no time, and he took a deep breath before the Baron exited first.
"Liam, I am so happy to see you here. Let me introduce you to my daughter. She is Elysia Conner."
The lady that got off the carriage was beyond beautiful. She had green hair and orange eyes, and her whole body exuded a peaceful air. Just looking at her made Liam's breath falter and his heart beat faster.
'I-Is this love at first sight?'
He asked himself as he clutched his heart.
"Elysia, are you not going to greet Sir Liam? He is going to be your future husband."
Baron Conner told his daughter, and she leveled her cold eyes toward him without missing a beat.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir Liam."
