'Great. Was one brat not enough to take Shuu's attention away from me? And now we have another one here?'
Emperor Kaiden sighed as he looked at the kids in front of him. Caelis met his own gaze, but Rin immediately looked away from him.
Despite his need to get Shuu pregnant again, he actually did not want more kids who could take Shuu's attention away from him. He liked having his companion all to himself.
So, he suggested another alternative.
"How about we let Yunn and his wife care for Rin? Won't that be better-"
"But I have decided that I want to raise him. Are you going to tell me no?"
Kaiden froze and then sighed. He did not want to deny Shuu, especially since this was the first time he had asked for something.
But at the same time…
"Should we not ask the kids? After all, Caelis might not want a brother."
Kaiden turned the conversation toward the kids, and it was Shuu's turn to frown.
"I am sure Caelis would love a brother-"
