Chapter 18 - SOMETHING, NOT NORMAL

"That woman is crazy to say that. Who can get things they desire in a hotel room?" I muttered to myself.

Anyone else would have thought it was a trick, a trap designed to mess with my head. But there I was, walking down the hall toward that exact door.

I unlocked it and pushed it open.

Inside was an enormous, warmly lit room. And there he was—waiting on his knees.

"I've been waiting for you. What took you so long?" he asked.

I stared at him, completely stunned. He quickly stood up, nervously offering a glass of water and mentioning my recent breakup. The fact that he knew—that this place knew—sent a shiver down my spine.

Intrigued by his boldness, I wanted to see what made a man like him tick. He tried to project absolute confidence, but guys like that are always the most sensitive beneath the surface. One touch, one word of command, and they melt.

I stepped closer, reaching out to cup the back of his neck. His body went rigid instantly, exactly as I predicted.

"Hold onto this," I murmured, pressing the glass into his hands and letting my fingers brush against his collar, "and don't let go."

He tightened his grip on the glass, his breathing turning shallow as his eyes locked onto mine.

Every nerve in his body was tuned entirely to my presence.

"You want to test your limits?" I asked, testing his composure.

"Yes, Mistress," he whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of eagerness and absolute devotion.

I praised him softly, watching how a single word of approval completely dismantled his defenses.

He wanted nothing more than to prove his loyalty, to yield control to my hands. When I gave him his reward, it wasn't just about the physical closeness—it was the profound emotional weight of his surrender. He poured every ounce of his admiration and trust into serving my command, making the connection between us electric and absolute.

For a whole month, that memory played on repeat in my mind. It felt like a surreal, magical experience—something too intense to ever happen again.

Until today.

Standing there outside my house, looking up at me with that same unwavering gaze, he turned a distant dream back into reality.
