Chapter 22 - How The Table's Turn- End.

Magic.

What is magic? How would you even describe it?

Is is the ability to create fireballs out of thin air? Or Is it the ability to augment your body to such levels that even steel won't penetrate?

Maybe...it is the ability to cause unfathomable destruction that even the modern day weapon like nuclear and hydrogen bombs couldn't ever match.

Perhaps... it is the ability to regenerate a whole limb that had been destroyed.

Or rather all of this was Magic.

Yet...all of that was just a lucid lie. Unambiguous to most, Zyrus knew the truth even more than that Zyrus understood the truth.

Magic was simply nothing but your imagination's figment.

It never was the ability to create flames...never was to destroy...heck it was much more easy.

Magic was just simply... your means to manifest your imagination in the world.

Body is the vessel.

Consciousness is the source.

Mana is the energy.

Imagination was the outcome.

Thus, when we comprehend all of that and synchronise it creating was Synergy.

A mystical power comes to reality. A beautiful outcome is created.

Magic was born....

As Zyrus consciousness teethered on the edge of losing, he thought of many things....should he had been the one to run towards the barrier instead of Anaerah?.

Should they have fought together? Should he have let the man go?

No, as an intermediate she was faster, stronger and more able. However most of all, the Duke's guards will recognise her.

He thought of how can he get out of this situation?

He thought if someone would come to help him?

Yet, as all of these thoughts come and go into his mind...it all at the end crashed down on one thing.

Let's stop it... let's stop thinking about the pain and consequences. After all, all of that will only be true if he was left alive.

So he dropped it...ceasing to think about everything else he just left himself fell into the comforting embrace of insanity.

Only one thing remained in his mind.

It wasn't Survival...It wasn't...Pride.

It was victory.

To, no matter how but gain the victory.

After all, at the end of the day. The Victor's were the ones who survived.

His hand grabbed the Boss's wrists, as his amethyst eyes glowed with an dazzling otherworldly bright while the tricolour swirled with a feral intensity radiating off the same shine.

A small cold smile graced his beautiful face, as the twin orbs closed.

The Boss looking at the cold face of the boy frowned as the boy had stopped struggling suddenly.

Rumble

A strange phenomenon happened.

All of the beasts, elves, dragon, humans, insects even the ancient tree, every being...every race at the moment looked at the magistic skies of the world.

A blazing rumble tore through the vast sky as dark clouds gathered heavy with thunder and rain. They weren't summoned neither were they created.

Rather...They just appeared out of nowhere as if anticipating something... something no one has ever saw, something no one might would ever witness again.

They just came naturally as if celebrating the Ascension of some great Deity to finally form a connection with them.

Yet, they never once covered the moons, as if letting the twin moons of Arcania dripping with sliver and white witness the extraordinary glory of this scene themselves.

They hovered around the moon. They were happy...they were filled with glee...nature was filled with joy and brilliance.

The whole canvas called sky was painted in purple.

Heartbeats fastened as the purple touched the skin of all beings. A strange feeling came to their's heart.

It felt as though this vast universe itself was welcoming someone, someone who revered yet not without flaws. Someone who was immense yet utterly feeble.

Someone who would witness it all...be it the beginning or be it the end.

As the first rain drop, cold and small fell on the ground.

"Discharge." The words were spoken.

In the silent forest filled with amethyst and moonlight, an overwhelming flash of purple lightning flared up towards the skies.

Stretching from the ground, it moved towards the vast sky and joined with it.

Ruuuuuuummmmmmbbbbbbbllllllllleeeeeee.

A bizzare, web of lightning appeared in the clouds as the whole world was lit up with it. The lighting traveled through one point of the world towards the end of it.

Not a single bolt fell on the ground as it moved through the skies. Then finally finishing it's travel, the hell broke loose.

An unimaginable number of lightning rained on the grounds of Arcania.

The stage has been set.

The audience has been gathered.

The Fate had come to meet it's bond.

The Beyond was finally here.

Thus the Eternity had finally been greeted it's long overdued welcome.

Crackle Crackle.

Zzzzzt...zzzzzt.

Bang

******

Anaerah's eye's widened to point of popping out.

"H-hey, what is this happening? What the hell is that thing? How can you be bonded with something so incomprehensible?" A shocked perhaps even terrified voice reached inside Anaerah's mind.

"I-i don't know." Barely a whisper, Anaerah answered.

As, she and her guards behind her witnessed the unfanthomable scene their minds simply blanked out.

They felt like watching something forbidden.

It was glorious...it was majestic however most of all it was revering.

In the tapestry named stunning, the moonlight and amethyst danced together, creating a miraculous visage of majesty and destruction.

Not did anyone moved neither did the lightning harmed someone.

Soon after, all of it calmed down and everything returned to normal. Yet, no one moved not for the next seconds atleast.

Then, as if reminded something. Anaerah finally came out if her reverie.

"Shit! Zyrus." She ran making the guards behind her also follow her.

Quickly, they reached where Zyrus was and saw him.

Everyone stilled, a vast blackened crater was formed on the ground. In it stood two beings...if that could be called that actually.

One who stood there was teenager, with a long scar running down on his chest while other stood a charred blackened man with a sword lodged into his mouth coming from the other sides.
