After a few moments of bickering between the two old men, Tharn finally let out a breath and spoke up.
"Alright… I'll agree on behalf of the Korag Warriors." He paused briefly before continuing, his tone turning serious. "But since we're now considered family, there's something I want to know."
[Ding! Congratulations to the host! You have subjugated the Korag Tribe!]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining 5,000 Tribal Points!]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining 50,000 System Points!]
Ash's eyes lit up when he heard it, as he had never expected it to be this easy.
"What is it you want to know?" Ash raised an eyebrow.
"I'm certain you just returned from the Varkesh Tribe," Tharn said calmly. He tapped his finger against the table for a moment, then looked up with a curious expression. "That's precisely why I'm puzzled. How are you completely fine? You don't look poisoned at all. And if I'm not mistaken, you either went there to subjugate them… or to take revenge."
"Oh, that?" Ash chuckled lightly and shrugged. "It's just poison. What's there to be afraid of?"
Seeing the confused looks on the Korag Warriors' faces, Ash continued with a faint smile. "You can think of it as having access to poison resistance potions. That's why we're unharmed. And yes—your guess was right. Old Ni finally took his revenge, and we successfully subjugated the Varkesh Tribe."
He paused briefly before adding, "Not only that, we also managed to subjugate the Mirefang Tribe."
"Oh?" Tharn's eyes widened in surprise. He clearly hadn't expected that. "Then what's your next plan?"
Knowing Tharn's ability in analyzing things was impressive, Ash was certain that this man was not that simple, and he might be able to use him to take care of some other things after making sure that he has the ability to do so.
That's why Ash didn't mind sharing his plan since Tharn had also become one of his people.
After having a small discussion for a while, Ash felt pleased when he was certain that Tharn was more than qualified to become the strategist of his tribe with his intelligence, etc.
Subsequently, Ash excused himself, as he now had more things to do with the addition of the Varkesh and Korag tribes into the family.
The moment they arrived at the stronghold's gate, someone on the watchtower struck the split drum a few times, attracting everyone's attention in the tribe as they instantly ditched their activities and hurried themselves toward the gate.
Just as the gate opened, people instantly shouted as loudly as they could, as if their lives depended on how loud they shouted.
"Woo!"
"Woo!"
"Long live the Tribe Lord!"
"Long live the Ragh'tal!"
…
Ash shook his head helplessly, knowing exactly why they were acting this way.
However, since he was in a good mood that everything went smoothly, he ordered the system to upgrade five people's ranks without batting an eye.
"Upgrade the one who struck the split drum's rank and randomly choose four Peak 2nd Rank Warriors from the crowd."
[Ding! 500 Tribal Points have been successfully deducted.]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host! Five people have successfully broken through to the 3rd Rank Warrior.]
When the crowd noticed that there were five people whose ranks got upgraded at once, they shouted louder.
However, they instantly fell silent the moment Ash raised his hand and spoke with a happy expression written across his face. "Silence!"
"Gather in front of the main hall again." Ash looked at everyone and led the others into the center of the stronghold, where the main hall was located.
In front of the main hall, Ash smiled and raised his hand high. "We've successfully subjugated the Varkesh and Korag Tribes at the same time."
The crowd erupted, but Ash wasn't finished as he shouted with excitement. "And more importantly, our War Chief has finally taken his revenge on the Varkesh Tribe Lord!"
This time, the uproar was genuine. The cheers weren't forced or exaggerated as they were filled with heartfelt joy.
A few moments later, Ash nodded his head in satisfaction and then raised his hand, signaling everyone to quiet down.
"With two more tribes joining our family, I hope everyone will treat them well," he said calmly. "Help them build houses in advance and make them feel welcome."
His gaze swept across the crowd before he smiled faintly. "In one hour, gather here again. I have surprises for all of you."
Subsequently, he dismissed everyone as he waved his hand and came back to his house to take a rest.
The moment he laid down on his bed, he accidentally fell asleep, feeling mentally tired even though less than three hours had passed after he left the tribe.
An hour later, someone knocked on his door, waking him up and surprising him since he had never guessed that he would sleep right after he lay down on his bed.
"Wait a moment." He got up from the bed and stretched out his body before washing his face to refresh himself.
When he opened the door, he saw Old Ni smile at him as he said. "Everyone is waiting for you in front of the main hall."
He nodded his head, then raised an eyebrow. "Where is he?"
"Tharn arrived a few minutes ago. He's waiting with the others." Old Ni replied.
He had told Tharn to come early because he wanted him to do something for him.
"Let's go!" Ash chuckled and walked toward the crowd at a distance.
Afterward, Ash proceeded with his plan by telling everyone about their missions and letting Tharn take a note, as he had something else in mind.
Naturally, he didn't tell everyone their missions because not all of them had reached a threshold where they would be shown their missions, but at least more than 95% of people in the tribe had already received their missions and been stuck in completing them for a while.
He also promised that whenever they had reached the threshold and received their missions, they could come to him and he would tell them their missions.
Their loyalty points increased significantly after he did this. Though, not all of their loyalty points had increased since he noticed that there were a few people whose loyalty points had decreased instead.
