"Well then," Vegeta said coldly, "since the Saibamen are gone, it's your turn, Nappa."
"Yes, Lord Vegeta!"
Nappa cracked his knuckles, a cruel grin spreading across his face.
"So, which one of you wants to die first?"
Krillin and the others fell silent, their gazes unconsciously shifting toward Goku and Gohan.
Nappa's power was overwhelming. Even if they fought together, they might not stand a chance.
"I'll be your opponent."
Goku stepped forward calmly.
A gentle breeze passed, rustling his hair.
Nappa laughed.
"Good. I'll kill you first, then deal with the rest of these Earthlings!"
"That depends on whether you can," Goku replied evenly.

Nappa sneered.
"Kakarot, even your brother Raditz wouldn't dare speak to me like that!"

He charged again.

His fist smashed into Nappa's face, knocking out two teeth and sending him flying like a cannonball.

Nappa crashed into a mountain.
Dust and debris filled the air.
When the dust settled, Nappa staggered to his feet, panting, wiping blood from his mouth.
"Tch. Useless trash."
Vegeta watched with undisguised contempt.
Nappa felt it.
Vegeta's scorn.
If he failed here, punishment would follow.
Clenching his teeth, Nappa decided to go all out.
"HAA!"
Suddenly, he gathered Ki in his hand and fired it—not at Goku, but at Krillin.
"What?!"
Goku's eyes widened.
He was too far to stop it in time.
BOOM—!
A figure flashed past.
Gohan appeared instantly in front of Krillin and casually swatted the blast away with one palm.
The explosion detonated behind them.
"G-Gohan!"
Krillin stared in shock.
"You saved me?"
"Mhm."
Gohan nodded calmly.
Nappa froze.
"H-How did that brat move so fast?!"
Vegeta's expression finally turned serious.
So Gohan's power wasn't inferior to Goku's after all.
"…Interesting."
Vegeta smiled faintly.
Enraged, Nappa clapped his hands together, firing countless Ki blasts toward Tien, Yamcha, and the others.
They hurriedly retreated.
"DAMN IT!"
Goku roared.
His aura exploded.
"Kaio-ken!"
A red flash streaked forward.
Vegeta's eyes widened.
"What?!"
BANG!
Goku appeared before Nappa and slammed his fist into Nappa's abdomen.
"AAAGH—!!"
Nappa flew backward like a meteor, crashing into the mountain once more.
Rocks rained down, burying him.
When the dust cleared, Nappa's scouter flickered.

Vegeta crossed his arms again, his disdain absolute.

"Every last one of you is trash."
