Inside the car, PK remained lost in thought, replaying the meeting in his mind. He didn't immediately notice that the seating arrangement had changed.
After a brief silence, the twins spoke almost together.
"Mr. Fool—"
PK turned, slightly surprised, then smiled.
"You can just call me PK."
The smile eased their tension, but their hesitation remained.
"PK," Lana began, Luna continuing seamlessly, "because of you, we were able to join… and experience something we never imagined. We're truly grateful."
They exchanged a quick glance.
"We'd like to treat you," they said softly. "Would you come to our home for dinner?"
PK didn't overthink it.
"Sure," he replied easily. "I'd love to visit."
The reaction was instant.
Both of their faces turned bright red, and they quickly looked away toward the window.
Almost immediately, their phones buzzed.
Message to Aunt Eve:
Aunt… PK is coming home with us for dinner. Please prepare something nice. Make everything perfect.
At Law Manor, Aunt Eve stared at the message, stunned.
Yesterday you said you were in love, she typed back.
Today you're bringing him home? You two work faster than the stock market.
The twins' faces burned even redder.
It's not like that! they replied in perfect sync.
The car rolled through the massive iron gates of the manor.
PK looked out the window—and froze.
The driveway alone felt longer than most streets. The estate spread wide, elegant and imposing, with a quiet authority that spoke of old wealth.
"…This place is huge," PK said honestly. "You both live here? I didn't realize you were this rich."
The twins finally turned toward him.
"We never really introduced ourselves properly," Lana said.
Luna continued, "We're Lana Law and Luna Law."
PK's expression sharpened slightly.
"The Law family?" he asked.
They nodded.
"Our parents passed away when we were young," they said calmly. "We were raised by our aunt. Most of our family lives in DY City—the capital."
PK listened carefully, absorbing every word.
So that's it, he thought.
No wonder.
As the car came to a smooth stop before the manor entrance, PK stepped out—unaware that this dinner would quietly mark another turning point in his life.
