Synopsis
The world worships heroes like celebrities, but to a youth reborn with memories of a cosmic battlefield, the system is nothing more than a dangerous naivety. Within him lies an ancient light—the final legacy of Noa, the Silver God, who fell in a mortal struggle against pure darkness. He is not a hero. He is a Vigilante moving through the shadows of the MHA world, hunting "Space Beasts"—predators that defy the logic of Quirks. Without a license, without recognition, and without support, he must evolve through pain; transitioning from the raw form of The Next toward the ultimate light of the legend itself. While the Pro-Heroes are obsessed with rankings and popularity, the youth realizes a bitter truth: This light is not a gift to be flaunted. It is a curse he must bear to protect a world that doesn’t even realize the ancient threat lurking in its own shadows. Disclaimer: I am only writing the story that is in my mind. I do not own the MHA or Ultraman Universe IP. I am simply a fan who loves these franchises and am trying to write a fan story from my own imagination.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: This Light is a Curse

That night, rain drenched the narrow alleys of Musutafu District. Atop the roof of an old building, a youth in a black hoodie ran at full speed. His breathing was steady, but his eyes remained sharp, constantly glancing back.

Srett!

A white cloth scarf lunged toward him, attempting to bind his legs. The youth leaped to evade the strike and landed smoothly on the ground—he was cornered.

"Stop right there," a heavy voice emerged from the shadows. Shota Aizawa—Eraserhead—stepped forward, his iconic yellow goggles in place. His hair stood on end, signaling his Quirk was active. "You've been operating without a license for three months. Give it up; you have nowhere left to run."

The youth remained silent, staring back with a dull expression. "A license?" his voice was low, nearly swallowed by the rain. "This world is rotting from the inside out, and you people are still obsessed with a license that's nothing more than a formality?"

"Well, like it or not, those are the rules," Aizawa replied with a lazy, cold tone.

"Your rules won't apply to what's coming, Eraserhead," the youth said. But just as he prepared to resist, he froze. The hair on his neck stood up. A strange frequency—one only he could perceive—pulsated through the air.

Suddenly, a man stepped out from the darkness of the alley, wearing a terrifying grin.

"Sir, please leave this area immediately. We are in the middle of official business," Aizawa told the man. However, the youth's posture turned rigid with tension.

"Hey, Hero! You need to leave! He isn't human! Get away from here right now!" the youth shouted.

The mysterious man's smile widened. Spikes resembling reptilian scales erupted across his body, with large jagged protrusions tearing through his back. He let out a pained shriek. Startled, Aizawa reached for his radio. "Requesting backup at Musutafu! We have a civilian who looks to be su—"

Before he could finish, the figure went berserk and lunged at Aizawa. The Hero dodged with great effort; the creature moved with a logic that defied human biology.

"Get back!" The youth Aizawa had been chasing jumped down, landing squarely between the Hero and the creature. Before Aizawa could stop him, the berserk figure fully transformed into a man-sized reptilian monster.

"What is that?!" Aizawa was stunned. He tried to activate his Quirk, but his eyes widened—nothing happened; the creature was not a Quirk user.

Suddenly, dozens of small, four-legged snake-like creatures emerged and merged into the monster's body. Aizawa watched in horror as the creature encased itself in an egg-like structure, which then burst open, evolving into a terrifying 10-meter giant.

The monster attacked fiercely. The youth was thrown aside, slamming into a wall until it shattered. As he struggled to stand, Aizawa flinched—the boy's eyes were suddenly glowing red.

Grandpa... forgive me, I have to use this again, the youth thought.

Instantly, a brilliant bluish-silver light enveloped his body, accompanied by red patterns that branched out through the darkness. A massive wave of energy swept through the alley. As the light faded, a 10-meter giant stood in his place. His body appeared organic, like musculature covered in silver armor, with an alien yet majestic face.

"What now?" Aizawa muttered, bewildered.

Without hesitation, the silver giant charged. As the monster tried to strike Aizawa with its tail, the silver giant hunched over to protect him. The monster coiled its tail around the giant's neck, choking him. However, light gathered at the sharp blades on the giant's forearms, and with one swift cut, the tail was severed.

Suddenly, the V-shaped symbol on the giant's chest began to blink red, emitting a high-pitched alarm. The giant slumped over, exhausted.

"Why? So it's true... you still can't master that power," a heavy voice echoed directly within the youth's mind—the monster's voice, mocking him.

The beast lunged for a bite, but the silver giant held it back. The blades on his arms glowed once more. He unleashed a sharp wave of light that tore through the monster's hide. Howling in pain, the monster fled.

After watching the monster flee, the silver giant slumped to his knees as the symbol on his chest blinked even faster. He then turned his head toward the stunned Aizawa. Before the Hero could utter a word, the giant's body evaporated into particles of light and vanished.

MC POV

I leaned my body against the dark alley wall, far from where the fight took place. My chest was tight. Every time I transform, it feels as if my very cells are burning. I stared at my trembling hands. Why me?

My memory drifted back to that moment—a burning void. I remember my old self dying on the floor. Then suddenly, I saw it: a silver giant with massive wings on its back, fighting a similar winged black demon in the center of a shattered galaxy.

The silver giant...

As the black giant launched its final strike, the Silver God fell, but he was not defeated. He released all of his energy toward my drifting soul.

"Carry it on... this light..."

The voice still echoes. Then, I woke up in this world—a world where heroes look like celebrities. A world that reminds me of Grandpa Sato, the only person who cared for me in the streets of this world, who died alone in an alley just like this because the Pro-Heroes were too busy catching villains to get on the TV news.

"You're all so naive," I whispered as I pulled my hoodie back on. "This light isn't for heroes like you. This light is a curse... and a responsibility."

I walked away into the shadows, letting the wounds on my body heal slowly. I haven't become that God yet; I'm still in the early stages. But I know that the darkness chasing that Giant has already begun to reach this world.
