Finally, under Emrys' persistent and shameless bargaining, Odin still agreed to give him fifty more dwarf craftsmen.
Although the Dwarves are born craftsmen, not many could meet Emrys' requirements.
To be able to provide one hundred and fifty dwarf craftsmen with exquisite skills at once showed Odin's sincerity.
After finishing these matters, Emrys prepared to return. There were still many things waiting for him to resolve, and this trip had been very long; the fleet should set sail again.
"Aren't you going to see your teacher?" Odin's words seemed to carry a deeper meaning.
"She misses you very much. She complained to me last time, saying that ever since you graduated, you haven't gone back to see her."
"Uh—" Emrys scratched his head.
"Next time, when I come back next time, I promise to give Teacher a big surprise."
"Surprise?"
Odin snorted.
"I just hope it's not a fright."
"How could it be a fright?"
Emrys smiled. In fact, he had always been paying attention to the situation here in Marvel, including the news of that 'heir'.
It just wasn't time yet.
After leaving the Marvel universe, he took the time to return to the alien world, specifically going to Paradise world.
In the huge, temple-like facility, it was empty. Emrys took a deep breath and stepped into the deepest part, where, amidst the bizarre architectural style, he saw the person sleeping in the 'Stasis Field'.
"I've come to see you, Elsa."
Elsa, lying in the Stasis Field, was as before, with skin that looked like it had been burned, and faint marks and runes of Tzeentch's curse still visible on it.
The Engineers had been trying to find a way to remove the psychic curse from her body, but Tzeentch's power was too strong, and it could never be changed by technology or scientific means.
The Stasis Field could only pause her time, but it couldn't make the curse on her disappear.
"I will find a way." Emrys looked at her, his eyes full of regret, and whispered.
"No matter how many places I go, how many people I find—I swear, I will make you awaken."
He had always been trying to find a way to wake Elsa from her slumber, but Tzeentch's curse, which penetrated deep into her bones and soul, was difficult to completely remove, unless... the Emperor himself intervened.
Emrys had not failed to seek out Morgana.
But unfortunately, Morgana's ability could not touch the curse on Elsa; it required the 'Emperor' to personally be present.
And the Emperor himself, sitting on the Golden Throne, how could he cross such a long distance to personally descend here?
"Do you know—"
Emrys sat cross-legged beside her, recounting the things he had experienced since she fell asleep.
One by one, event by event.
Finally, Emrys left a bouquet of flowers, fresh flowers from The Wandering Earth, blooming on the ice and permafrost—a rare sight.
Nearly half a month later, Emrys returned to the battleship. The resources of world CV-7721 had been completely collected, and everyone was ready to set sail again.
All the Adamantium was sent to the Transformers world, including the one hundred and fifty dwarf craftsmen he had 'coaxed' from Odin, to be used for forging new power armor.
The selection and training of the Grey Knights also got on track.
Other conscriptions, such as those from alien, Resident Evil, The Wandering Earth, Transformers, and Marvel, were also proceeding steadily.
After reconciling with Winnie, their relationship seemed to have taken another step closer, but this made Hilda a bit unconvinced.
She would often challenge Winnie to duels.
But the result, naturally, was defeat.
Although Hilda was a very talented Farseer of the Eldar, facing the 'Emperor's daughter' was still a bit of a difference.
Amidst the commotion, the Merlin fleet officially set sail from world CV-7721. As the Warp engine started, a tremor ran through the huge battleship, and it roared into the Warp!
After the fleet entered the Warp, everything was stable.
"Ahead, we are about to encounter a Twisted Warp domain." Suddenly, the Machine Spirit issued a warning.
Emrys looked down at the monitoring situation outside the Machine Spirit. Ahead was clearly a twisted, non-Euclidean geometric 'Nebula'.
"We're here."
It was Edoras. He suddenly appeared from the 'Star Map', gazing at that condensed, strange Nebula, which seemed non-geometric in the Warp, his expression turning a bit heavy.
"This is it, the 'node' of the necessary path!"
"Node?"
Emrys was slightly taken aback and asked.
"That's right, to go to that 'place', you must pass through this area." Edoras nodded, his expression extremely solemn and serious, and said in a deep voice.
"Only by entering from here can you return to the correct course, but—"
At this point, he suddenly stopped.
Seeing his unusual expression, Emrys couldn't help but feel strange and asked.
"What's wrong?"
"Heh, nothing."
Edoras smiled strangely, his eyes full of amusement.
"After this Nebula, you will encounter a 'Door'. Only by coming out of the 'Door' can you reach the correct course. I'm just curious, who will you meet inside the 'Door'?"
"Door?!"
Emrys was even more bewildered.
A Door in the Warp, and from Edoras' words, it sounded like it wasn't that simple.
"That is a—" Edoras paused for half a second, seemingly thinking, and then said.
"A very magical 'Door'. Everyone who enters it will encounter different things."
"Interesting." Emrys raised an eyebrow, then ordered the fleet to sail towards the twisted geometric Nebula.
"I want to see what I will encounter—"
Soon after the battleship entered the Nebula, a piercing alarm blared throughout the entire battleship!
Outside the dome, the entire Nebula was twisting and shrinking, as if subjected to some terrifying pressure. The Geller Field, which prevented the battleship from being corrupted, also suffered a terrifying attack. In the purple Nebula outside the window, countless compound eyes seemed to open, and those evil, nauseatingly greedy gazes stared at the battleship!
"All personnel to battle stations."
Looking at the turbulent Warp, Emrys had an extremely ominous premonition.
"We are under attack!"
The crew and sailors issued a warning.
Violent tremors shook the entire battleship. Emrys could even clearly see through the porthole, daemons with purple bird wings, screaming, frantically attacking the battleship!
"This is—Tzeentch's daemons?!"
Emrys' pupils contracted slightly. This place was far from the Milky Way Galaxy, a place even the Emperor's Astronomican could not reach. Had Tzeentch still not let them go?!
"Geller Field energy decreasing!"
The crew shrieked in terror.
"What the hell is in here?" Emrys gritted his teeth, glaring at Edoras.
"How could we encounter Tzeentch's daemons here?!"
Overwhelming Tzeentch daemons, as if driven mad, seemed unwilling to let him approach, frantically attacking the 'Soul of Redemption'!
However.
Just then, amidst the swarms of countless Tzeentch daemons, a flash of lightning suddenly emerged, like a huge raven's shadow sweeping through the pitch-black shadows!
