While Draka and Drek'Thar were discussing the matter, Azuka walked over. Carrying the banner of the Burning Blade Clan on her back and wearing a resolute expression, she looked every bit the strong woman. Who would have guessed that at night, she would be moaning like a harlot beneath Arthas?
"Draka, you still have a child, don't you? I heard your child went missing. Perhaps you can let my Master help you find him. My Master can mobilize most of the resources of the Lordaeron Alliance."
Draka's expression instantly darkened. The loss of her child was the pain in her heart. "Not necessary!"
Azuka didn't mind. She only thought the other was ignorant, stubborn, and beyond help. The treatment under the Master was far better than in the Horde. Besides, if the so-called "atonement" just meant getting plowed in bed, she really didn't mind atoning forever.
Draka and Drek'Thar broke into a heated argument, seemingly over the issue of surrendering. This wasn't just about pride; it was about the survival of their race.
The number of Orcs who had surrendered to Arthas exceeded seventy thousand—those were his core forces—and that didn't even count the three hundred thousand prisoners. This was already a terrifying scale. If a riot broke out, his own forces would actually be insufficient to suppress it.
Arthas was unconcerned. Azuka went to persuade the other priests of the Frostwolf Clan, lobbying them and applying pressure. No one wanted to live a life of poverty; once they could escape such hardship, surely no one would be willing to continue starving and freezing. Profit tempted the human heart. One couldn't call this tactic despicable; one could only say it was very effective.
Emeriss had only recently awakened, so she hadn't had sex with Arthas yet. Lately, she had been missing it. Green Dragons liked to sleep, perhaps due to the power of dreams.
"Is it necessary to recruit them?"
"The Shaman class is helpful on the battlefield, and Shamanism is the Orcs' faith. As long as I control these people and have them preach for me, it will be much more effective than anyone else speaking. Moreover, the Frostwolf Clan has always had a good reputation; they can accelerate the reformation process of those prisoners." After speaking, Arthas pulled Emeriss into his arms, tilting her chin up playfully. "Is it itching? Do you want to be fucked?"
"If there's time, let's have a round." Emeriss was not shy. For Dragons, this was normal. She liked Arthas too; otherwise, she wouldn't have followed him when he had nothing. She just didn't care to express it.
Arthas pulled the beauty closer, saying firmly, "I won't disappoint you. I will definitely marry you."
"Talk about that when you have enough strength. Marrying me won't be easy. Mmh... they're coming. Handle your business first. I'll always be by your side, so don't be in a hurry. Go." Emeriss pushed Arthas away. Her half-lidded eyes, looking somewhere between awake and asleep, held a unique charm.
Drek'Thar and Draka had finally reached an agreement. They came forward to negotiate with Arthas.
First, the Frostwolf Clan would not surrender, but they would send troops to assist in battle and accept command. Second, the Frostwolf Clan was not to be harassed or bullied. Third, the survival of the Frostwolf Clan must be guaranteed, including the supply of resources. As long as these three points were met, they were willing to join Arthas's command.
Hearing Draka's demands, Arthas silently took out a cup and poured himself a glass of red wine.
"Fine demands. Alright, since you won't surrender and won't fully submit, I won't force you. Good luck to you."
Seeing Arthas walk away without even a rejection or a counter-offer, both Draka and Drek'Thar were dumbfounded. Only Emeriss wore a familiar smile. Despicable, shameless, yet possessing principles—this was the kind of man she liked. A man who was too righteous was boring, and one who was too despicable couldn't be trusted. Being just the right amount of slippery was best.
Draka, who had been full of confidence a moment ago, was stunned. She never imagined Arthas would reject her so directly without even stating his conditions. This gave her an ominous feeling. "Hey, Human Prince, what tricks are you trying to play?"
"Since you want to die, I'll fulfill your wish. I don't argue with dead people. When you meet Durotan after you die, remember to tell him that it was you who buried his Frostwolf Clan." Arthas waved his hand. "In two days, the Alliance will launch a total offensive. Any Orc who hasn't surrendered must die. You invaded this world, yet you have the gall to talk about 'survival' so grandly. How shameless."
At the mention of the late Durotan and the survival of the clan, Draka's stubbornness vanished. She seemed to lose her fighting spirit. "What exactly do you want?"
"What do I want? Simple. You become my slave, and I'll spare the Frostwolf Clan. They can enjoy the same resource treatment as the Burning Blade Clan—food, clothes, and Priests to heal the wounded. They can find decent jobs to support their families. Those are the benefits." Arthas looked down at the deflated Draka. "I'll give you one chance. Duel me. If you lose, you do as I say. If you win, I'll spare the Frostwolf Clan and let you safely leave the Alliance's encirclement."
"Fine!" Draka summoned her courage. When it came to combat, she truly wasn't afraid of anyone!
The duel drew many Frostwolf Orcs to watch. One was the wife of their late Chieftain, and the other was a Prince of the Alliance. This was a duel that would decide their fate. Some even felt that Draka should lose. Because Azuka had started handing out bread, and that delicious bread was causing the starving and freezing Orcs to waver. When one's stomach is empty, loyalty naturally wavers.
Someone started it, and soon all the Orcs began cheering for Arthas. Draka's face changed. Even if she won today, she would never be able to reclaim the hearts of her people!
At this thought, Draka gritted her teeth at Arthas. "You are despicable!"
"They just want to live. What's wrong with that? The wrong one is you—you selfish woman!" Arthas chuckled. "Enough talk. Let's see what you've got." He never worried about such problems. If a duel could solve things, he would rather fight every time!
