Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Lady Ashvane

No one pressed Arthas on the matter of the Holy Light, perhaps it was just a power boost. That's all there is to it. Lordaeron is the strongest kingdom; if it can't weaken, then it's best to get along!

Many of the major lords were looking for which of their daughters would be suitable to marry Arthas. At fourteen, one can marry; in the case of commoners, this was even more so. Only Terenas is different, he had a child later in life at fifty; usually, people have children much earlier.

"Arthas, congratulations." A gentle voice came, and looking over, it was the similarly youthful Jaina, Arthas's childhood friend.

Looking at Jaina, Arthas had a complex expression; her reputation in his old world was not good. Of course, that was in the game; in reality, she was not crazy yet, she was still quite pure and blessed with wisdom. Her father commanded the most powerful navy in humanity, and with her beautiful looks and exceptional magical talents, these were all sources of pride for her.

"Same to you, I've never forgotten our promises," Arthas embraced Jaina at the banquet, in front of everyone!

Marrying Jaina wouldn't be bad; she is a wealthy beauty, very helpful to him. He is not the Arthas in the game; he is himself. Even if it's a honey-coated cannonball, he wants to peel off the sugar coating and eat it, then shoot the cannonball back! Surrounding nobles gasped in surprise, does this count as an engagement? A nobleman's wife can only be one, that's the proper way; any child born is also the rightful heir. As for lovers? That's just a lowly status; everyone has a few lovers, right?

Jaina blushed, leaning on Arthas's shoulder; she was smart but didn't realize this was just part of Arthas's plan. After all, marrying a wealthy beauty also comes with her family's support; who wouldn't want that? Putting that aside, a thirteen-year-old alluring girl, isn't that enticing?

"Once I'm done with this busy period, I'll go to Dalaran to find you." Arthas would not let Jaina go; he wanted to train her to be his most loyal woman, so he wouldn't worry about betrayal. In the storyline, Jaina wasn't pursued much by Arthas, neglecting a beautiful girl; well, that's somewhat idiotic, right?

"Mm, I'll listen to you." Jaina didn't know what to say, she could feel the envious stares of many women, which made her a bit flustered yet proud. Her boyfriend is the prince of Lordaeron, prince of the strongest human kingdom!

Meanwhile, Terenas had begun introducing the protagonist of the night. Queen Talia of the Stormwind Kingdom and the heir, Varian; while it seemed welcoming, it was essentially discussing alliance matters through their arrival. After all, the Stormwind Kingdom had been destroyed, and these people could be regarded as refugees, requiring their support. If it weren't for Lothar's presence, they might have been swallowed up by all the nobles.

Lothar's lineage traces back to the founding emperor of humanity, Thoradin, a legitimate royal bloodline. Heritage is very valuable among the races of Azeroth; a noble background simply sounds formidable, making people unable to resist complimenting it.

Arthas quietly stood listening, turning his head to look at Varian, the future leader of the Alliance. However, he is no longer the Arthas from the storyline, so what the future holds is truly uncertain. As he scrutinized Varian, the other party was also assessing him; the two couldn't exactly be called best buddies, but they were familiar acquaintances.

Yet, Arthas's gaze quickly settled on the ever-wise and elegant Queen of Stormwind, whose regal demeanor was reminiscent of his mother, an aura of beauty emanating from her. A beautiful, graceful, and elegant mature woman held a fatal attraction for a man of his age, her voluptuous body, the hint of a graceful smile at her lips, the faint crow's feet at the corners of her eyes, and her exquisitely beautiful face shone even more temptingly under the opulent jewelry.

Gulp, Arthas swallowed hard; he had never felt such a desire. This was the ambition that came after a power boost! Capable men should possess more women, with more femininity! At this moment, he knew clearly what he wanted: power, wealth, and of course the most important, women! As the banquet flowed with wine and conversation, Arthas mingled with the nobles, including those from Lordaeron and from other kingdoms. Beneath the glamorous ball, who knows how much filth was hidden?

Not long after, a voluptuous woman entered, bringing with her a scent of sea breeze; the tight jacket accentuated her voluptuous figure, especially her soft bosom, creating deep valleys that drew one into them. Upon arrival, she warmly pulled Arthas into her embrace, pressing her chest against him, and nuzzling her pretty face against his hair.

"Oh, my little prince, I just heard you got promoted, that's remarkable! What reward do you want? A ship or a string of large pearl necklaces to woe a beauty?" Gulp, Arthas thoroughly enjoyed the embrace of this mature woman; it was simply wonderful! But this wasn't the right time, so many people were watching.

"Ahem, auntie, I was about to look for you. Come, have a seat, the journey must have been tiring; I've saved your favorite rum for you!"

"So good!" Priscilla didn't care about the eyes of the crowd and gave Arthas a kiss, a direct lip-to-lip kiss. Other nobles were somewhat used to it; if this were a small-town noble, they would have mocked him to build their presence. But facing Priscilla, Lady Ashvane, no one dared to say anything.

She controlled ninety percent of the maritime trade of the human kingdom, a genuinely wealthy woman, and was also Arthas's beloved aunt; her warmth towards Arthas left no one daring to dissent.

Even her husband, Lord Paul Ashvane, had some slight discontent but was silenced quickly, "I haven't settled with you for spending the night at your mistress's, so what's wrong with giving my nephew some affection now?"

With no son or daughter, she dotes on Arthas, who has always been sweet-tongued and filial to her, even more than her other family, treating him almost like a true son. To Arthas, this aunt truly cared for him; he had no clue why she would for her ambitions become a significant villain in the future. With such a powerful antagonist, if he didn't utilize her, it would simply be letting himself down! Not to mention, he really missed the lady's cleavage; it was too big and too soft, probably only his two hands could hold it firmly for her!
