The alliance's military dispatch this time was very swift. Judging from the orc's direction of advance, the first to be hit was Gilneas, followed by the Battle of Hillsbrad and the Alterac Kingdom. Next was the magically advanced kingdom of Dalaran, and lastly, Lordaeron.
With their lives and fortunes at stake, these old foxes mobilized quickly, fearing that the powerful Kingdom of Lordaeron would delay, as they were at the back! Only Admiral Daelin sat nonchalantly at the conference table, listening.
Kul Tiras was controlled by four noble families, with no king. He was merely leading Kul Tiras in name as an admiral. Isolated overseas, Kul Tiras was even less worried about an orc invasion; he was the most relaxed. With his daughter Jaina's relationship with Arthas, he naturally favored Arthas and stood on the side of Lordaeron.
"Then it's decided. Commander Lothar will confront the orc army at Southshore Town. Admiral Daelin, please engage the orc fleet at sea first, buy time for the main forces to reach the front lines. Commander Lothar, military matters are now your responsibility. I will handle logistics. If everyone performs their duties, we can definitely push the barbaric orcs back to their world. Everything is for the Alliance!"
King Terenas became more passionate as he spoke; being an alliance leader does come with some perks, and the waters run deep here. To act in the name of the Alliance to do something is rightful!
"For the Alliance." Although the kings were reluctant, they had to hold their noses and accept it, as Lordaeron was the strongest kingdom.
At that moment, a guard came in and whispered something to King Terenas. He frowned, "Gentlemen, my son Arthas has something to report to us. Admiral Daelin, this may concern you."
"Hmm? Is he planning to propose to my daughter, Jaina? Isn't this a bit early?" Daelin laughed heartily, having no objections to an alliance with Lordaeron. However, he did not notice the other kings' faces darkening; who could withstand such a powerful alliance?
Soon, Arthas entered, donned in armor, walking steadily. He slightly bowed as a gesture of respect, "Greetings to all the kings. I will be brief. I have received intelligence that the orcs have controlled dragons through some sort of artifact, imprisoning the dragon leader and thus using the dragons in battle. You all know better than I how powerful dragons can be. Therefore, it is likely that dragons will aid the orcs in this battle, especially at sea."
Turning to his future father-in-law, Arthas continued, "The orc fleet could never match the navy of Kul Tiras, but if dragons join the fight, it could be different. To avoid losses, we should prepare some countermeasures against the dragons."
Daelin, who had been relaxed, now scrutinized his future son-in-law with new intensity, "Where did you get that information?"
"That is classified; everyone has their secrets. Admiral, I can assure you that what I say is true. Even if it doesn't happen, it's better to be prepared."
Naturally, Arthas could not reveal that he had received this information from the storyline of a video game; he could only speak ambiguously. The admiral did not make things difficult for his future son-in-law; he simply caressed the pirate cutlass in his hand, "So, Your Highness the Prince, do you have any suggestions?"
"I previously discussed with the dwarven engineers the possibility of modifying landmines into underwater mines. However, this was not researched in depth. We could convert some landmines into water mines by adding flotation devices, which would detonate upon impact with a ship to destroy the hull. Underwater mines are inexpensive, easy to deploy, and quite effective. This could allow you to lure the enemy into the mines while fleeing the dragons. However, it has one drawback." Arthas said, his tone somewhat meaningful.
"That is, after being placed, passage for ships would be difficult post-conflict. Therefore, I am not well-versed in naval combat and maritime navigation and I leave it to your judgment, Admiral."
"Hmm, I will consider it seriously, Your Highness the Prince. Thank you for your suggestion; the sailors of Kul Tiras will appreciate it." Admiral Daelin took off his hat and slightly nodded to Arthas in respect. The suggestion could minimize casualties for the soldiers, and it was worth looking into.
Without lingering, Arthas left the conference room; this was no longer his place to participate. He had more important matters to attend to. Once outside the palace, walking along the street, he found Lordaeron to be the most prosperous city of humanity, where merchants and hunters could be seen everywhere.
One could even see a few goblins, which were rare in other kingdoms. Arriving in the city, Arthas pondered for a moment, followed by his aide, who had been assigned to protect him since childhood. "Falric, what do you think happiness means?"
"To ensure the safety of your Highness the Prince is my happiness." Falric was loyal; in the storyline, he was fiercely loyal, following unconditionally through the slaughter at Stratholme and the battles against the undead scourge in Northrend. As long as it was a command from the prince, he would execute it without hesitation. Like Uther, he was blindly loyal to the king, such vassals were beloved by all.
"Haha, my happiness is the protection and the safety of my people. Everyone has food, opportunities for education, and a stage to showcase their talents." Arthas felt elated; he did not worry about humanity's defeat. Even a suspicious alliance could defeat the orc army, let alone a united alliance.
"Your Highness the Prince's happiness is so pure; I am truly impressed. It is a pleasure to meet you, Your Highness the Prince; I am Alleria Windrunner." A tall female elf appeared before Arthas, exuding a valiant aura reminiscent of a Valkyrie.
Yet due to her noble lineage as a high elf, she appeared both elegant and noble, clearly a ranger. Aside from a green cloak fluttering in the wind, she wore only green shoulder armor and a bikini-like leather top.
Her bright golden long hair accentuated her ivory skin, making it look even more soft and tender. Her well-exercised body showcased the most perfect athletic silhouette. With a noble long snow-white neck and slender, sensual collarbones, her trimmed waist highlighted her ample bosom, which was more pronounced given her slender physique.
Without any corset, her fit figure showcased perfect lines without any weakness, exuding a strong and resilient aura. Her lower body was adorned with green boots trimmed in golden silk, making her remarkable figure appear even leaner and taller, embodying a deep exotic flair and unspoken sensuality.
