Frontgate Aurora Saint Academy
I laid on the ground recovering as Erielle continues to heal me. "Jericho can you break down what happened?" I ask.
"Alirght let me tell you from the beginning" Jericho says. "I woke up to a knock at my door. Suspecting I overslelpt somehow I half haphazardly put on my school uniform. I open it and low and behold I see these two inside my home. Unannounced I stood there at my door for a mere moment thinking I was still dreaming. MY mother and father were both delighted to have two notable people in their homes acquainted with myself. We then continued onward to school where we ran into the student that we encountered yesterday."
Ezekiel pops into the conversation. "I then went to go talk to him.".
"We urged him not too" Bianca says with a nervous smile and chuckle.
"We really did" Jericho says as his eyes roll. "He continued to walk towards him and place his right hand on his shoulder."
"That's where it went downhill.Haha haaaa…" Bianca nervously laughs.
"That damn hooded guy almost slamed me too the ground however with my fast reflexes I was able to evade it." Ezekiel says proudly.
"I wouldnt quite call that an evasion." Bianca says quietly to herself.
"Then thats how he got thrown into you Valerus" Jericho states.
"Hey I wasnt thrown. I lost my grip on his arm and i simply let go." Jericho turns towards Ezekiel as he motions with his hands "He threw you off his arm with ease. How can you-" Ezekiel taps Jericho's shoulder. "Its alright I'll leave him too you then next time" as he smiles.
"Uh however you want to think Ezekiel." Jericho says with a broken smile.
Me and Erielle both stare at the two as Bianca comes near us.
"These two sure are entertaining." Bianca says.
"You must've had an amazing time coming to school" Erielle says.
"An interesting one to say the least." Bianca says.
I finally get back on my feet.
"Sorry again Valerus" Ezekiel puts his hands together.
"To almost take him out of action as were close to the Magus Exam is something" Jericho comments.
"At least hes alright now." Erielle says.
"Not with this guy around" Jericho adds.
We all share a laugh.
"By the way everything all right Bianca?" I ask.
"Oh yeah everythings alright. I havent felt or detected any source of malice of evil intent since that incident. Its like I can freely do whatever I want." Bianca says.
"Thats good to hear."
"If you need anything just make sure to call us." Erielle reassures.
"We'll be there" Jericho says.
We all nod and smile.
"Thank you guys."
"Especially m- augh" Jericho drags Ezekiel inside. "Alright enough of your shenanigans today, let's go inside."
We continue our walk into Aurora Saint Academy
Fillion Drakes Room
CREAK PUSH
Windows open from the dimly light classroom as light shines throughout "A little fresh air." Fillion says to himself.
ZTTT
A little lady bug flies outside the window.
A loud commotion "Hmm" comes from below as he looks.
"Valerus." Fillion watches as the students have there fun. "What fun.Too be young again."
KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in"
CREAK OPEN
"Fillion" a voice says.
"Percival how kind of you too stop by."
The Federations Captain of Squad 4 Percival Caldwell walks in.
"A open window in your classroom thats something" Percival comments.
"Needed too let a ladybug loose."
"Scoff. Okina spying again?" Percival says jokingly.
"On the button." Fillion says as he closes the window.
"Ugh what is this awful smell." another voice walks in.
"Alekzander it'll help you gain immunization. Its best that you take it in." Percival says.
"Okay Captain. Oh where are my manners? Am Alekzander Hart last years Magus Exam winner a pleasure to met you Professor Drake" Alekzander extends his hand.
"Good to meet you its a shame I couldnt be present during the Magus Exam last year. I heard your a fantastic mage." Fillion adds.
"Fantastic? Me?!"
"Yes your Captain here has talked about you with high praise. He was so impressed with you he handpicked you himself"
"Really Captain?!"
Captain Percival nods silently.
Alekzander stands with gratitude.
Fillion walks over to Percival"I appreciate your quick response to the incident yesterday Percival"
"Your lucky that I wasnt busy." he responds.
"With you there it must've been an easy task. A strong Federation Captain like you."
"You could've easily stopped them" Percival responds.
"Could;ve… Like what I've done with the place?"
"Woah what are these bugs." Alekzander stares at the test tubes intently.
"Alekzander I would suggest you refrain from touching things inside here. Could be fatal." Percival warns.
Alekzander contiunues to explore the different things in Fillion Drake's room.
Fillion walks around "Oh nothings that fatal or a minor 15 minute paralysis the fatal fatal things I dont keep in here. Here Percvial have a seat." he contiunes to guide them throughout the room showing the two infirmary beds and couch.
"It must be fun to have your class." Alekzander states.
"Yeah it sure is." Fillion says with little enthusiasm as he rumuges his cabinet "Would you like tea? Coffee? How about my special drink that I made that would help-"
"Fillion stop with the act will you." Percival says in a serious tone.
Silence fills the room.
The two stare at each other.
"How is it?" Percival asks.
"Its fine."
Percival walks closer. "How is it?" he asks once again.
Alekzander stops looking around as he watches.
Fillion closes his eyes.
Slowing rolling up his tucked in shirt.
The giant purple mark on his left ribcage pulses like a heart as it spread too his under arm. As purple veins spread other parts.
"My word." Alekzander says in pure shock.
Percival eyes widden as he gazes at it more closely "Tch whats your lifespan now?"
Fillion reaches for his drawer in his desks and pulls out one of the little capsule pills.
RATTLE RATTLE
The drawer rattles as hundred of canisters are loaded with the little capsule pills .
"Day by day" Fillion responds as he leans back on his desk.
Percival looks away is distress as he paces around the room.
"T-to have that severe of an injury how can you-"
"Alekzander not now" Percival says. "Have you not asked Okina. She perhaps has a-"
Fillion shakes his head "No she wont."
"Maybe there a spell or a-"
"Percival." Fillion walks over. "I believe this is the end for me. My time is drawing near. Day by day I take these pills to stay alive. There were days were I thought about not taking one but the students now. There bright young minds and magic there keeping me going. I hope to stay alive too see them succeed."
"Living for others."
Fillion reaches over his desk to one of his drawers "I want you to give these to Okina."
"Just give it to her yourself."
He stops grabbing for the thing and returns to leaning against the desk.
"She probably wont wanna see me."
A brief pause.
"Haa maybe I might after this kidnapping stuff stops happening."
"Speaking of that it seems two groups are involved. The Phantom Order and a group your familiar with the Five Deadly Venoms" Percival speaks.
"I know."
Percival heads towards the door "The Federations keeping an eye out for both but am pretty sure you know where to find the Venoms."
"Yeah. I shall see you soon Percival."
"See you Professor at the Magus Exams." Percival walks out the door.
"Good meeting you professor. Thank you for the immunization" Alekzander thanks.
"My pleasure be safe out there." Fillion waves.
CREAK SHUT
"Haa. You know its not very nice to eavesdrop." Fillion speaks.
"Am surprised you caught me professor." a voice says emerging from the shadows.
"So your infamous hooded student that attends here." Fillion says.
"Infamous just off of one occurrence."
"You were able to detect an invisible foe with ease it seems attuned with your surroundings and magic. Am just curious who are you? I know you are not one of the Phantom Order" Fillion asks.
"Someone who will bring the Phantom Order down and maybe the Five Deadly Venoms as well."
"Hmph"
"It seems you did share some sort of connection with those five previously as I heard before. However I wont let anyone know and most importantly about that condition that your suffering from." the hooded student responds.
"I appreciate that. Seeing how you know so much about me, I wanna know more about you." Fillion asks.
"Alright"
"First remove that hood of yours it'll eventually have to come off during the Magus Exam."
The hooded figure removes his hood. "Now you know how I look like. My name will be revealed at the Magus Exam. The figure walks towards the door. "Just know professor our goals align we'll need each others help."
"Am sure of it." Fillion responds.
"See you later."
CREAK SHUT
"Haaa what a way to start off the morning." Fillion says as he stares out the window with arms behind his head. "He told no lies." he says to himself.
