In worry, I look around me since I wasn't in Inv's embrace when I woke up!

No seriously where am I? I'm definitely not in the shelter anymore. Nor anywhere on the wall??
"What the fuck…" Murmuring this to myself I start looking around.

'OK this is getting weird… am I tripping right now? Did I accidently take a mushroom last cycle and hallucinate everything that happened and now I'm reaching the peak of the trip?'

Walking up to the wall I feel it… feels… smooth? Actually, the more I look at the more it looks like…

You push doors to open them, right?! So why isn't it opening?!
After trying to push the door open for a bit I give up.
'OK pushing definitely ain't doing anything…' thinking this I give the door a closer look…

At the middle of the door, I push in a metal thing sticking out from it.
Pushing it doesn't do anything…
Who the fuck made doors and why did they make them so hard to open?!

Fully twisting the metal thing, I pull at it, and it finally opens!
OK I've finally escaped the room. Now I just need to figure out where I am…
Taking a step through a door, I find myself in… a corridor? No… this is too small to be a corridor… nor small enough to be a tunnel.
Everything around me still looks… homely… I think this was called… a hallway?
Looking down the hallway I can see a path to some stairs and another door.
I'll avoid the door from now… not sure if it works differently compared to the last one.
Walking down the hallway I get to the stairs.
Wow… when's the last time I've seen stairs?
Slowly walking down the stairs I can faintly smell something… and it smells… good? Like something could eat good?
Picking up my pace I go down the flight of steps the smell getting stronger each step I take.
Reaching the bottom of the steps I can feel my appetite start kicking in. Whatever this is must be really good!
Finding myself in another small hallway all I see is another door entrance without the door? Well that just makes my life easier…
With eagerness I swiftly approach the entrance and enter into a new room.
What I see surprises me.
"S-so much food!" I exclaim out loud walking towards the table full of food.
What even is this stuff?! It looks so good! Someone must've made this!
Looking around all I see are strange machines… I think… Those were cooking appliances back on Earth? Damn, I'm really starting to forget shit…
Besides that though, who made this?

"Hello? Is anyone here?" I yell out loud in my surroundings.

Slowly… I hear very soft chattering. Like a group of… people are talking to each other… but where?
Looking back at the table I still see nothing but the food. The food looks good but now… the longer and longer I look at it I feel…

I… don't feel hungry anymore. Why am I feeling like this all of a sudden?
Feeling a stinging pain appear in my chest I look away from the table.
'I… I shouldn't be here'
Not wanting to be in this area any longer I walk back from where I came from through the door entrance.
Once I feel like I'm far enough away from the table I stop and clench my paws…

Laying on the ground I close my eyes trying to fight back the tears.

"Joey~" from a far distance somewhere I can hear a familiar voice call my name.
Immediately I stand right up hearing the voice!
"I-Inv?! Where are you?!" I rapidly yell out while rubbing my eyes from my tears.
Trying my hardest to focus on where it came from, I hear Inv again.
"Im up hera Joey~" hearing Invs voice again, I snap my head towards the staircase I walked down earlier.
In a dash I run to the stairs and rush as fast as I can up the stairs! I knew it! It wasn't fake! All that stuff really did happen with Inv!
Reaching the top of the stairs I look around and see no sight of Inv.
"I-inv?" I murmur out hoping what I heard wasn't fake.
"En hera Joey~" this time I'm able to hear Inv's voice much more clearly past the door next to the staircase.
Walking up to the door I raise my paw up to the metal thing and twist. Thankfully this works and I'm able to open it. Pulling open the door expecting to see Inv what I see instead is nothing but pitch darkness.
Wha-
"Com ensid Joey… I ben watin fo u~" in a… very alluring voice, I hear Inv say this somewhere behind the veil of darkness.

Not wanting to be separated from Inv, I brace myself and walk into the pitch darkness.
Walking inside instead of being met with complete dark my surroundings suddenly light up.
I shield my eyes from the sudden brightness with my arm.
"I-inv? What's going on?" I say out loud while trying to adjust my eyes.
"Te main cours obvosly~"
Getting even more confused by the response my eyes finally get adjusted. Raising my arms down I finally see what's ahead of me and-
