"Umm… try saying yes?" I tell him, not sure if it will work.

"Ok... try putting your finger over the one part that says yes"

I point at what he scribbled on the ground pointing at the 'ye' part.
"Ok!!!" Inv says this and starts raising his finger in the air. I can only assume it's over the yes prompt since I can't see any of it.
But right after doing this Inv pulls his paw back in surprise.
"Joey!!! Wen i ded dat a circl appar!!!"
A circle? Why would a circle appear???
"What did the circle look like?" I'm genuinely starting to get confused by this. Isn't it just a simple yes or no prompt???
"I dunno!! Wen i tuch 'ye' a circl star tu fel up!!!" Inv starts making circle symbols with his finger in the air.
'Started to fill up? Didn't the UI in Rain world do that as well when making a decision on some things?'
"Ok uhh just keep your finger on yes until the circle fills up" I say back to Inv.
Rapidly nodding Inv puts their finger back in the air holding it in place.
After a moment Inv jumps back in surprise.
"Joey!! Something neaw apear!!!"
'Great what now?'
"What is it Inv?"
"neaw swibbles apeard!!" Hearing Inv say this I start growing annoyed.
'Another prompt? What the fuck does this one say?'
"U-uh Joey??? D-ded i du somting wong???" I hear Inv say my name in a lower tone. Seeing his concerned expression, I realize I'm letting my annoyed mood show on my face.
"No Inv! I'm just… a little tired" I say to Inv in an apologetic tone. Besides the annoyance that is this system, I am truly getting tired. I think this is the longest I have ever stayed up in a cycle.
"Scribble what you see on the floor again Inv" I say to Inv as I rub my eyes trying to fight off my exhaustion.
"O-ok!!" Inv picks the spear back up and starts scratching at the ground again.
While waiting for Inv to finish I try to pass the time without passing out. I could look at those passives that I got but to do that I would have to close my eyes…
'and I don't exactly want to do that or I might actually zonk out'
With that thought I put my attention back on Inv and just stare at him.

Looking at his eyes I notice something…
'Has he even blinked a single time since I met him?'
Looking even closer I watch to see if I can catch him blinking his eyes. And barely, just barely do I see something.
'What the fuck was that?'
I could've sworn I just saw something move on his eyes but what was it?
"U-uh es something wong Joey??" Inv breaks my concentration when he says this.
"Nope! Nothing's wrong Inv. Just staring at you" I say to Inv without thinking.

'Did I seriously just straight up say I was staring at him?! That makes me sound insane!'
"B-bu y?? Ded i du somting wong??" Inv says back to me in a worried tone, and I see his skin turning a shade of darker blue.
"N-no Inv! You did nothing wrong! I'm just looking at you because uh…" I frantically say to Inv trying to come up with a reason why I was staring at him.
"Because you're so good looking!" I make finger guns with my paws and point them at him while saying this.

I feel my face heat up a bit as I realize what just came out of my mouth and what I'm doing. Why was the first thing that came to mind was to flirt?!

Snapping out of my embarrassment I hear the spear Inv was holding onto drop onto the ground.
"Wawawa!!? I lok gud?!" Inv's skin rapidly turns red.
"Uhh yes?" I say awkwardly, trying my best to look composed.
"W-wel!!! U-u lok pwetty!!" Inv's skin turns bright red as he says this and I see him pointing gun fingers at me. Seeing him mimic my action with the finger gun makes my heart skip a beat for a second.
Even with the very simple compliment I still find myself flustered. Am I actually pretty?
'Dang it man I know I'm pink but I'm a guy! He knows I'm a guy… right?'

"Inv, you know I'm a male right?" I ask Inv.
"Ye?"

'So, he's calling me pretty fully knowing I'm a male… well… that's good I think???'
"T-thanks Inv, you almost finished scribbling down what you're seeing?" I say to Inv trying to get him back on track.
"Oh! Ye i almos finised!!" Inv picks the spear back up while saying this and starts scratching at the ground right where he left off before I distracted him.
Seeing Inv focus back on the scribbling I find myself staring at him again. Inv notices me staring at him again since I can see his eyes dart between me and back at what he's trying to scribble. I find this cute as I see his skin shifting between pink and red.
Looking back at his eyes I try to catch what I saw earlier.

'Woah! What the hell was that?!'
This time I'm able to more clearly see this time. For a split second I saw something cover Inv's eyes but… it looked exactly like his eyes???
'Is his eye lid his eye??? How the fuck does that even work???'
As I'm wondering about the strange case that is Inv's eyelids I see Inv drop the spear again.
"Don!!!"
"Oh? Alright let's see" pushing away what I just saw I look at the new scribbles Inv made.

'Why the hell does it even give a warning prompt?!'
"Hold this again Inv" I say while pointing to the 'ye' option.
"Ok!!!" Inv raises his finger in the air again and keeps it in place. After a moment I hear a ding go off in my head.
Access to Invert's stats has been granted.
'Finally! Why the hell was that more complicated than it had to be?!'
"Joey! Et disapar! Wut hapen???"
"I'll try to explain later Inv. For now though I'm sure you want to eat right?"
"Oh ye ye ye! Me hunger!!" Inv starts hopping up and down in excitement from the mention of food. I feel a small smile tug at my lips as I see his excited mood.
"Alright let's go"
I can check these supposed 'stats' later. I want to get Inv at full food pips first and into the shelter before doing anything else.
Finally able to get that situation solved I turn around and make my way towards the pole that leads down to the popcorn plant. With Inv right behind me I jump down grabbing onto the pole finally leaving the platform we've both been on for a long while.
'Man, it feels like I've been up there for almost an entire month!'
