Blood of Kamio – Chapter 27
Kamioma of the Black Kamio Village created the shield again, but once more the zombies broke through it. The zombies entered the Kamioma Office. Everyone attacked them to defend themselves, but the zombies healed within seconds.
Among them were five injected zombies, and their punches were extremely powerful. With a single punch, one of those five zombies knocked Kazuma into the air.
Kamioma quickly created a shield around everyone and shouted for them to run. Everyone started running.
On the Light Kamio Village side,
Kamioma and Reo began moving toward the Black Kamio Village.
Reo asked,
"What are you planning to do?"
Kamioma replied calmly,
"Just watch."
Reo said angrily,
"You sent kids on a dangerous mission for your plan. That's not right."
Kamioma answered,
"Maro is with them—the second strongest Kamiora of the Light Kamio Village."
On the Black Kamio Village side,
One of the five injected zombies punched Shiki's shield. The shield shattered instantly. The zombie raised its hand to punch Shiki, but suddenly a Kamio technique struck the zombie's arm, burning it.
The attacker was Onoki.
The zombie healed its burned arm within a second. Onoki grabbed Shiki's hand and started running, but it was too late. The zombie bit Shiki.
Shiki turned into a zombie.
Onoki shouted,
"Shiki!"
Maro yelled,
"Onoki, run—now!"
But Onoki didn't move. The zombies broke Onoki's shield and rushed toward Onoki to bite him. At that moment, Maro attacked the zombies with a Kamio technique and shouted again.
"We will find a way to remove the zombie virus. Come with us now! If you don't run, you won't be able to remove the zombie virus from Shiki!"
After hearing that, Onoki finally started running.
After everyone escaped the Kamioma Office, Kamioma created another shield around Onoki. Outside, there were even more zombies, but they couldn't break the shield. Only the five injected zombies were capable of breaking it with a single punch.
Maro said,
"This is strange. Most zombies are trying to break the shield but failing, while a few are destroying it with one punch."
Kamioma of the Black Kamio Village replied,
"Yes… something is definitely wrong."
Tears formed in Onoki's eyes, but he quickly hid them.
Onoki whispered,
"Shiki, don't worry. I will find a way to remove the zombie virus from you. I promise. Just wait."
