Aryan and Meena both steel themselves, ready for the exam. Rudra Pratap directs all the candidates into a separate room.
Just then, the manager of the Defense Corporation walks in and says politely,
"You can go, sir. I'll handle everything here."
Rudra Pratap shakes his head firmly. "No. Today, I'm conducting the exam myself."
The manager bows slightly. "As you wish, sir."
In total, only twenty candidates have shown up for the exam. The manager turns back to Rudra Pratap and says
On the other side of the hall, all the candidates are gathered in one area. Meena stands quietly in her spot.
Suddenly, a boy saunters over, eyeing her up and down with a smirk.
"What's the last poor girl doing here?" he says loudly.
His two or three friends standing nearby burst out laughing.
The boy steps closer to Meena and continues, "My father is one of India's biggest businessmen. How does a poor girl like you even get to take the exam in a company this big?"
He throws his head back and laughs mockingly.
Suddenly, a voice rings out from behind: "If you're a businessman's son, go do business. Why the hell are you here trying to become a hunter?"
The boy whips around. "Who the fuck said that?"
Aryan steps forward casually and says with a smirk, "You don't talk to someone's dad with that much attitude."
The boy's face turns red with rage. "How dare you talk to me like that?!"
He clenches his fist and charges straight at Aryan, ready to swing.
Just then, another boy grabs his arm and holds him back, saying firmly, "No fighting here—"
"There's no point in all this," the other boy says with a sneer. "Let's make it interesting—let's bet on it. Whoever scores the highest in this exam wins. The loser bows their head and apologizes like a good little servant."
Aryan locks eyes with him and smirks. "Start practicing that bow right now."
Meena turns to Aryan, worry creeping into her voice. "Are you sure you can actually get top marks in this exam?"
Aryan flashes her a confident grin. "Meena, relax. This is child's play for me—left-hand stuff."
Rocky nods sharply. "Fine. Bet's on."
Aryan tilts his head. "What's your name, anyway?"
The boy straightens up proudly. "Rocky."
Just then, Rudra Pratap enters the room and presses a red switch on the wall. With a low mechanical hum, sleek tables rise smoothly from beneath the floor.
He looks around the room and says in a deep, authoritative voice, "Everyone, take your seats."
Aryan, Meena, and Rocky quickly settle into their assigned spots.
Rudra Pratap personally hands out pens and question papers to each candidate. He then activates a shimmering protective barrier around the entire room—a high-tech shield that prevents any form of cheating.
Scene shifts to the observation hall outside.
Large screens line the walls, broadcasting live footage of every candidate inside the exam room. The remaining attendees—family members, sponsors, and company staff—watch intently.
Rohan and Aditya stand side by side near one of the screens. Rohan leans toward Aditya and says,
"Aryan will definitely pass the exam," Rohan says confidently.
Aditya smirks. "But he won't score higher than Meena. Hell, he might not even pass."
Rohan raises an eyebrow. "Why do you think that?"
Aditya shrugs. "I've never once seen Aryan studying. Not even for a minute."
Rohan grins. "Let's make a bet, then."
Aditya tilts his head. "What kind of bet?"
"If Aryan fails," Rohan says, "I'll give you my bike."
"But if he passes, you have to get me a gift."
Aditya chuckles. "Deal."
Scene shifts back inside the exam room.
The camera pans to Rocky's face—sweat beading on his forehead, eyes wide with panic. He mutters under his breath, "This exam is way too damn hard…"
Cut to Aryan. A relaxed, confident smile plays on his lips. There's not a trace of fear on his face—he looks almost bored, like he's already done.
Then to Meena. She's staring intensely at her question paper, eyes narrowed in deep focus, completely absorbed as she reads every line carefully.
