Chapter 2 - Episode 2: Bluebells

Exhales...

.

.

Fine.. Whatever..

*Stands back up, his trench coat's hem now wet with melted snow.*

Elvin: *stills for a few seconds, contemplating whether he should really take the vampire inside or not* Ah, f**k it..

Grabs the man by both his arms, firmly, trying to drag him inside, causing as little noise as possible meanwhile

Heaving a giant body across the street, without drawing attention was no cake walk for that 19 year old elf either but somehow he had managed to click open the door and carry both himself and that unconscious creature inside. His warm tiny stature looked funny carrying that man with all his strength.

Elvin: *panting**slowly lowers the man's body on the ground*

THUD

Hah..hah…

Plops down on the wooden floor

Before he could recline any further against the wall, a sharp ring of his phone echoes through the silence of the room, the screen lits up with the name "Papa💓"...

Elvin: *glances at his phone..facepalms*

Hello?

Mr. Agrion: Don't Hello me boy, where are you now?

Elvin: I'm.. home?

Mr. Agrion: Yes? Home? Why didn't you call me sooner, hmm?Haven't I told you to inform me the first thing after you get back? Do you even care at this point?

There have been cases of elves going missing in recent days. Do you not watch the news, huh?

Elvin: *ears drooping like a withering lily*

I-i—

Mr.Agrion: You know I don't get the time to call you often, it means it's your responsibility to knock me instead.

Are you the only elf on this planet who goes to high school? None of the elves your age are like you.

I am saying this because I care. Nobody will ever tell you things like this.. Nobody cares about you. Only I do, and your mother used to.. If you're going to be this tactless then I'll have to opt other ways, and I may not be gentle.

Elvin: *tears brim his eyes, drenching his golden blonde eyelashes before he could even realise, a tear rolled down his cheek*

I-i was late.. sorry..

Mr.Agrion: Of course you were. This is my last warning, if you don't quit— Stop whimpering you're a grown adult now.

Everyone gets scolded, you're nothing special and I especially CANNOT pamper you into a mindless brat.

Elvin: I-i am sorry… I won't forget-

Mr. Agrion: You better not. Anyway, Goodnight, freshen up and take your dinner, I have kept it in the fridge. And for god sake, don't make me repeat myself, you wouldn't like the consequences.

Hangs up~

Elvin: *hands shaking like a cornered rabbit, he slips the phone back into his pocket and stays there for a long moment, as if time itself has stilled.

A choked sob breaks the quiet of the night. Outside, even the streetlight dims, as if trying to soothe the boy.*
