San's eyes fluttered open, the soft light of the Wu Clan sanctuary filtering through the windows.
His gaze landed on Senior Sis Liang, who sat by his bedside, her eyes wet with worry and relief.
"San, you're awake!" she whispered, voice trembling. "You were unconscious for at least three days. It's all because of Yun Zhan that you're still here. If he hadn't come to heal your injuries and restore your power, you might have died."
At that moment, Yun Zhan quietly entered the room, his calm presence filling the space.
"Prince Zhan," Liang greeted him warmly.
San smirked weakly, "Sis, stop praising him. He's such a boring person."
Liang shot San a playful glare, "You naughty boy, don't bite the hand that carried you all the way here."
San chuckled softly, "He carried me? Suddenly I'm feeling pretty important."
Just then, a knock came at the door. Liang smiled knowingly, "That must be Prince Zhan."
