Julian Peyton was so angry his hands were shaking. He leaned back in his seat, breathing heavily and unevenly. "Give me back my phone, now. I need to call my sister."
"You will sit there and behave. Once we're home safe, you'll get your phone back."
Mrs. Peyton's stern voice hadn't even faded when Morgan Joyce's men rushed in. They moved quickly, subduing all of her bodyguards.
Mr. Lorell shot Mrs. Peyton a contemptuous glance. "Still thinking about getting home safe? In your dreams."
"You people are completely lawless! Who gave you the nerve to barge onto my private plane?"
The old woman glared at Mr. Lorell with an imposing aura. Anyone with less courage would have been genuinely intimidated by her.
But who was Mr. Lorell? He was Morgan Joyce's top special assistant. After being exposed to his own CEO's powerful presence, he had long since been trained to be immune. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he was impervious to anything.
