Leo Lowell raised his hand and smoothed the stray hairs on Laura Lowell's forehead. A fleeting look of melancholy and helplessness crossed his deep, dark eyes. "From now on, build a good life with Aiden Shaw. You have to be happy."

Tears welled in Laura Lowell's crystal-clear eyes and slid from their corners. She reached out and hugged Leo Lowell's slim waist. "You have to be happy too, Brother."
"Silly girl, what are you crying for..."
Leo Lowell gently patted Laura Lowell's back, his own eyes turning red. Though he was reluctant to let her go, she was, after all, about to become another man's bride.
The phone on the nightstand suddenly rang. Laura Lowell wiped the tears from her face, picked up the phone, and glanced at the screen. It was a video call from Aiden Shaw.
