With that, Zachary Redgrave hung up. He went to the bathroom for a quick wash, fixed his hair, and checked the bank cards in his wallet. Only after confirming he had everything did he sneak out.
"Zachary Redgrave was put in confinement?"
Lying in her hospital bed, Hannah Hale shifted slightly and accidentally brushed against the wound on the back of her head, causing her to hiss in pain.
Startled, Laura Lowell's heart skipped a beat. She rushed nervously to the bedside and glanced at her friend's injury. "Don't move around! You must have hit your wound."
Hannah Hale took a shallow breath and paused for a few seconds before speaking. "Don't worry, I'm fine. By the way, why was Zachary Redgrave put in confinement?"
"Let me ask you something. If Nathan Redgrave refused to leave you alone and relentlessly pestered you to get back together, would you forgive him? And take him back?"
