Turning on the TV, Laura Lowell glanced at the man bustling about in the kitchen, a sweet smile touching her lips.
'The most fortunate thing in love is when the person you love happens to love you back.'
A little over half an hour later, Aiden Shaw had finished cooking. He brought the last of the dishes, a soup, to the dining table. Looking at his girl in the living room, he couldn't help but smile. "Honey, come and eat."
"Okay, I'm coming."
Laura Lowell turned off the TV, slipped on her slippers, and got off the sofa to head to the dining room.
Seeing the pink apron on Aiden Shaw, Laura Lowell walked over, her dimples faintly showing, and helped him untie the strings. "If our baby is a girl, do you think she'll be able to find a husband as wonderful as you? What if she runs into a scumbag?"
