He saw all sources of information collapsing and falling into chaos. Everything became random and uncertain. If the man and the god did not repeatedly reshape the reality around them, they would be instantly engulfed by the entropy. Both their energy and physical forms would be scoured into meaningless static, fading into the lingering echo after the annihilation of all things.
The isolated demiplane at the Pole was, in a sense, already destroyed. Its fate would be a prelude for the entire Prime Material Plane, and even the whole cosmic domain.
