All eyes turned to the girl sitting on the floor.
Mona Lowell's expression froze, and she cautiously raised her hand.
A police officer looked her up and down, then said in a deep voice, "You're coming with us, too!"
At his words, everyone in the room's expression changed. Even Mandy Warren, who was still making a scene, stopped and looked at her in confusion.
Mona Lowell was stunned. A bad feeling welled up inside her as she asked fearfully, "Wh... why?"
"Routine questioning," the officer said flatly.
Mona Lowell suddenly became agitated. Trembling, she pointed at Aurora Sinclair and said, "You must have made a mistake! She was the one who ordered..."
But she cut herself off halfway, as if she suddenly realized something. Swallowing the rest of her words, she shook her head and frantically explained, "No... it wasn't..."
