The phone was answered after a few rings.

Butler Lowell glanced at the old man sitting across from him and nodded.
The old man gestured with his finger, his face calm as he turned his gaze back to the chessboard before him.
Butler Lowell immediately spoke into the receiver, "The Family Head is asleep. Whatever it is, it can wait until tomorrow." Then he hung up decisively.
