Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

The trip to the city, which should have taken two hours, can now be completed in less than an hour using the art of weight reduction.

Jena and Jeslin have arrived at the city market. The market is very crowded, which makes Jeslin look excited. There are many vendors selling various kinds of goods. Jeslin sees a vendor selling satay. When she asked the name of the food, it turned out to be fruit candy. Curious about the taste, Jeslin bought two pieces of candy and gave one to Jena. After tasting it, she found it quite delicious and quickly finished it.

"Sis, where are we going first?" asked Jeslin when she saw Jena staring at a large restaurant filled with many visitors.

"Let's sell our prey first. Who knows, maybe the restaurant will accept our catch," said Jena calmly.

While passing through the forest earlier, they encountered several wild wolves. Jena and Jeslin easily killed all the wolves in a short time. The prey was then put into Jeslin's dimension ring.

"I'll ask at the restaurant first. If they accept our game, I'll give you a signal. Then you can take out the wolves," said Jena before walking into the restaurant.

Inside, Jena met the head waiter who managed the restaurant.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm sorry, but I have a question. Does this restaurant accept game?" asked Jena politely.

"Yes, we accept game. What kind of animals did you catch?" asked the head waiter enthusiastically.

"We caught some wild wolves. If you're interested, I'd like to sell them," replied Jena calmly.

"Wow, that's great. Are they still in good condition?" asked the head waiter again.

"You can check them yourself," said Jena, giving Jeslin a code that only the two of them understood. As people who were used to working in silence, they often used secret codes to communicate.

The head waiter then brought a kitchen waiter to check the quality of the hunted animals. After inspection, the wolves were still warm, indicating that they had not been dead for long. This made the head waiter very happy.

"All right, Miss..." he said hesitantly.

"Just call me Jena, and my sister Jeslin," said Jena, pointing to Jeslin, who was still guarding their prey.

"All right, Jena. I'll call the manager. You two go inside. Let our servants take care of your prey," said the head servant.

"Okay, Uncle. I'll call my sister first. Thank you for welcoming us," said Jena politely. She realized that the customers at the restaurant were well-dressed, while she and Jeslin were wearing shabby clothes, even though they were the best clothes they had.

"Just call me Uncle Bo," said the man with a gentle smile. The two girls were very beautiful and had honest eyes, reminding him of his granddaughter who lived in the village.

"Thank you, Uncle Bao," Jena said sincerely.

Uncle Bao then asked the waiter to bring snacks and drinks for Jena and Jeslin before going to call the manager.

Shortly thereafter, Uncle Bao returned with a young man whom Jena assumed to be the restaurant manager.

"Jena, meet our restaurant manager. His name is Mr. Andi," said Uncle Bao.

Mr. Andi smiled and extended his hand to shake hands.

"You two chat. I still have other work to do," said Uncle Bao as he left.

"Yes, Uncle Bo. Thank you," said Jena and Jeslin as they bowed their heads.

"Okay, let me introduce myself. I'm Andi," said the man.

"I'm Jena, and this is my sister Jeslin," replied Jena.

"Are you twins?" asked Andi, looking at them in admiration.

"Yes, Mr. Andi. We were born only five minutes apart," replied Jena.

Andi nodded in understanding.

"So you want to sell a game?"

"Yes, sir."

"Do you hunt yourselves, or does someone else do it?"

"We hunt ourselves. More precisely, they deliver their lives to us," replied Jena.

"What do you mean?" asked Andi, confused.

"When we were heading to the city and passing through the forest, some wolves blocked our path. So we killed them and brought the game to the city," explained Jena.

Andi was even more impressed. Wolves are ferocious and very fast animals. If these two girls were able to kill them, it meant that their martial arts skills were very high.

"You guys are amazing," said Andi sincerely.

"So how much will you pay for the game?" he asked again.

"It's up to you, Mr. Andi. I'm sure a restaurant as big as this will give us the best price," replied Jena, because she didn't know the market price for wolves.

"All right. For one wolf, I'll give you five hundred silver coins. There are five wolves, so you will receive two gold coins and five hundred silver coins," said Andi after calculating.

Wolves were difficult animals to catch, and their meat was highly sought after by the nobility, so they were quite expensive.

"How about it? Do you agree?" Andi asked when he saw Jena was silent.

Jeslin immediately nudged her sister to wake her up.

"We agree, Mr. Andi. Sorry, I was daydreaming. Something crossed my mind," Jena replied quickly.

"In that case, wait a moment. I'll prepare the receipt and get the money," said Andi.

Shortly thereafter, he returned with the receipt and the money from the sale.

"Here is the receipt and the money. If you get another catch, just sell it to us," said Andi.

"Okay, sir. Thank you," said Jena.

She and Jeslin bowed their heads before saying goodbye.

"Be careful on your way," Andi said with a smile.

Andi walked them to the restaurant door, then returned to his room. Before going in, he reminded Uncle Bo and the waiters to treat the two girls well if they came back. The waiters nodded without asking any questions.
