In another time, a pair of beautiful, thin twin girls were seen swimming in the river while fishing. They ignored the strong current because they had to find food for their sick parents. Many residents had warned them that swimming and fishing in strong currents was very dangerous because they could be swept away, but the two girls paid no attention.
Jena and Jeslin, the twin girls, continued to work together to catch fish that had been swept away by the current. By noon, they had only managed to catch one fish. Although they were often rebellious and caused trouble, they loved their parents very much. That was why, when their parents fell ill, the two girls tried to find food.
Their life in the village was very poor. Sometimes they only ate once a day. Their bodies became very thin, although their beautiful faces were still clearly visible.
Because they were too focused on catching fish, they didn't realize they were in the deepest part of the river. Jeslin, who was already exhausted, suddenly experienced cramps in her legs and couldn't move. She would have been swept away by the current if she hadn't held on to a large rock.
"Jena, my leg is cramping, I can't move it. Help me, I think I'm going to be swept away by the current!" Jeslin said in a panic. Her grip on the large rock slipped.
Jena, who heard her, panicked and immediately tried to pull her sister's hand. Unfortunately, Jena was not strong enough to fight the strong current of the river. Finally, they were both swept away by the current, which was getting stronger due to the heavy rain that had fallen all night.
"Help... help!" the two girls shouted with difficulty as they tried to grab onto anything to stop themselves from being swept away. But all their efforts were in vain. Their heads hit a rock, causing them to stop moving. Their bodies continued to drift until they finally got caught in fallen trees at the edge of the forest.
Shortly thereafter, two residents passing by found them and carried the girls' bodies to the riverbank. One of the residents checked their condition but could no longer feel their breath or pulse. He could only shake his head with regret because the two beautiful girls had died.
One of the residents recognized them as the twin daughters of the Argantara family. After cleaning the mud from their faces, he felt very sad and surprised to learn that they were both very good swimmers. The two residents took the initiative to take their bodies back to their parents' house and seek help to carry the two girls' bodies because the distance was quite far.
Not long after they left, two blue lights suddenly entered the bodies of the twin girls. A few moments later, their bodies moved, and they slowly woke up.
"Ouch... my head hurts so much," muttered the girl with a small mole on her chin as she held her head.
"Where am I?" Zena looked around in surprise.
"Didn't Zeslin and I fall from the roof of the building? I should be dead. Then why am I still alive? And where is this? This place looks like the edge of a forest. Since when did the city have a forest?" Zena muttered in confusion. "Where is Zeslin? Are we separated?"
Her feelings grew sadder until her reverie was interrupted by the sound of a girl crying not far from her. Zena saw a beautiful, thin girl crying while calling out the same name as hers.
"Sister... Sister Zena... don't leave me. Where are you? I'm scared, Sister!" The girl cried.
Zena was surprised and suspicious. She hoped that Zeslin had been reincarnated with her, but the girl's face was different, and her body was very thin. Although she was as beautiful as her sister, Zena did not recognize her.
"Sister Zena... are we separated? I'm scared to be here alone," said the girl while crying, making Zena's heart ache. Her spoiled attitude reminded her of Zeslin.
Zena approached to find out the girl's identity.
"Don't cry. What's your name?" asked Zena softly.
"I'm Zeslin, Sis."
"Zeslin?" Zena's heart raced. "Your name is the same as my sister's."
"What's your name, Sis?" Zeslin asked, confused.
"I'm Zena," she replied, showing the blue diamond necklace still around her neck. The necklace was proof that she was Zena from her previous life.
Zeslin was surprised and showed the blue diamond ring on her finger with a beaming face.
"Sis Zena! Thank God we're still together!" Zeslin exclaimed spontaneously as she hugged Zena tightly.
"Thank God we were given the opportunity to live together again," replied Zena, hugging her sister happily.
"It seems that this necklace and ring really unite us, just like what Dad and Mom said," said Zena softly.
"Yes, sis. I still remember," replied Zeslin with a gloomy face.
Zena fell silent. In her heart, she felt that the jewelry was indeed special, even though her rational mind found it difficult to accept things like miracles.
"Where are we, sis? I don't recognize this place," Zeslin asked anxiously.
"I don't know either. It seems like this is a different era from our previous world," Zena replied, trying to remain calm.
Suddenly, a flash of unfamiliar memories flooded her mind, causing her to wince in pain.
"Ah... it hurts!" Zena held her head. Slowly, the pain subsided. She saw that Zeslin was experiencing the same thing.
"Sis... my head hurts so much," Zeslin complained.
Zena immediately hugged her sister and gently massaged her head.
"Hang in there. It'll go away soon."
After a few moments, Zeslin's face was no longer pale.
"I'm okay now, sis. It doesn't hurt anymore," she said softly.
Zena gently stroked Zeslin's hair, making sure her sister was truly all right.
