All beings in story are born with a core.
If this core is destroyed or ripped from your body you die if your lessons than Deity stage.
The core has several stages.
Stage 1 being~ sterohedral elongated square diypyramid in shape
Heroic Being~ Elongated square bipyramid
Epic Lord~ hexagonal bipyramid
Ruler Lord~ 6 sides top and bottom Trapezohedron
Omni Lord~ 8 sides top and bottom Trapezohedron
Divinity Deity~ 16 sides top and bottom Trapezohedron until evolved into Artifact which takes shape of your souls "intent"
Cosmic God
Each core stage from Stage 1 to Epic Lord has 4 levels with a 5th border level to next stage up to Divinty Deity when things change drastically.
These 4 stages are
Birthed
Beiginner
Intermediate
Master
And the 5th border stage where your in-between about to break through is referred to as a (Tier Breaker)
Example of proper use: Eric is a Heroic level Tier Breaker.
Meaning he is trying to or about to break into the Heroic stage and birth a Heroic stone.
The type of power used in beginning levels is called Divinity.
The first few stages break through requires forging the next core level inside your original core and making it powerful enough to shatter and grow replacing the previous core.
This is accomplished by either growing your strength through training and killing enemies or consuming things of power that can be absorbed into the body to enhance its power levels and feed the core power directly. You must also obtain a deeper understanding of yourself and your abilities as well.
At Ruler Lord the requirement to break through is different. You must not only have enough power (Divinity) you must have a populated Dominion that bows to you and have killed a previous Ruler and removed their stone to feed your own which does not guarantee your advancement but will help strengthen the core your trying to make break through or you have to know someone who has a Ruler Lords core willing to give it to you.
On top of this you must forge an Atribute stone with the Ruler Lords stone into your own at the same time.
Attribute stones come from beasts that have a specialized Attribute such as Fire or lightning or such giving them command over a special ability specialized by their species. Some intelligent humaniod like species already have one of these from birth tho they are typically weak and stronger versions often can be found in other non humanoid beings. This stone remains in the heart of the core. If multiple are absorbed initial power is cut for each added.
To become an Omni Lord you have to Forge the Atribute stone into your core and change it from a six sides to 8 sides forging 2 extra sides on top and bottom on opposite sides with essence of the Atribute forming like a cloudy like substance inside the cores center if their elemental. If its more substanced like blood it would appear as ever changing omeba shaped liquid expanding and contracting in different forms.
This causes your power to become purer and more potent and powerful.
Divinity Deity you take your conical hexagonal diypyramid into a triacontadigon
diypyramid. This is done by drawing spiritual lines in each triangle on top and bottom and then using pure power feeding into each line and pushing the line outward so the triangles are spilt and the total sides on top and bottom of the diypyramid total 32 and the core lookes like an extremely intricate crystal. While this sounds simple it takes a catalyst of true understanding and acceptance of self along with atrinomical amounts of Divinity which is what is used to draw the spiritual lines that are then pushed outward to make the diypyramid go from 8 sides on top and bottom to 16 sides on top and bottom doubling the triangle sides. While sounding simple this is a very strenuous process that takes time and vast amounts of effort and if not done correctly can cause your own core to reject the process and even cause spiritual scaring that causes decrease in power levels and internal injury that could become fatal in some cases.
Once this process is completed correctly tho you enter the first of ten steps of Divinity.

Spiritual essence is something only Deities are able to forge and have cause its a more pure form Divinity that has been refined down to its purest form. It takes astronomical amounts of Divinity to refine little Spiritual Essence.
Birthed your a new Deity that is just learning your powers most leave this stage shortly after entering it and advance to Deity.
Deity you learn and grow your Divinity until you learn how to successfully refine it into Spiritual Essence.
To become Dawned you must forge a new crystal from your own out your own spirit and core using spiritual essence which you then form into a core of pure solid essence. This looks like a neborns core.
Enlightened you refine the new core inside your core with spiritual essence condescending it into the part of your spirit that was separated and added into the core to grow it into a Ruling.
A Ruling is divine power that uses alot of Spiritual Essence to force lower levels to bow or kills them from shere overwhelment of power.
A Centered Deity uses their Ruling to then form an Essence artifact Body made of Pure Spiritual Essence to transfer their core into. This body before it has the core transfered into it is what marks a Centered Deity.
Evolved is when you successfully transfer your life core to your Artifact body and your power explodes in levels and Essence becomes far more easy to make.
Mystic you take the Essence you collect and make your core into an artifact transforming it into a pure Rule of life and power making it extremely hard to destroy. The Artifact takes form as your true selfs desired mastery. For some this may be a sword or a spider or a lightning bolt. This Artifact is extremely powerful and causes a massive spike in power and far more difficult to destroy to kill. It also is capable of leaving the body to be used to fight without causing death. In cases of being creature like in form it can fight at your command with a part of your spirit without much need to focus on what you want it to do.
At Keizer you then Take your artifact core and use it to take over a world Engine tieing it on a cosmic level to that world allowing feed back from the world using your Ruling to give you astronomical amounts of Spiritual Essence.
When you are able to tie 10 worlds to your artifact core that are populated with intelligent lifeforms that worship you you become a Dained Deity.
When you are able to conquer and hold 100 worlds you become a Cosmic Proxy. This borders A True Cosmic God which requires a minimum of 100 world fanatically worshipping you with unwavering belief providing ungodly amounts of power constantly at which point your Spiritual Essence evolves into Cosmic law which commands and makes Essence in a self sustained cycle that makes it near impossible to kill you. Cosmic law "births" Spiritual Essence which feeds your power which grows your Cosmic law in turn. If you loose your worlds before your Cosmic law can become self sustained you cannot break into becoming a Cosmic God.
Cosmic God comes when your Cosmic law is so vast that even if you lost all the world's that you've conquered and have enough Essence to form and evolve into Cosmic law to "birth" more Essence making you practically immortal so long as you dont do anything that requires so much power you destabilize your own cycle effectively resetting yourself back down to a Cosmic Proxy or worse killing yourself from the instability causing an spiritual detonation destroying yourself.
