Once the orders were issued, Blackfire stood up and walked toward the safe hidden behind the wall. He input the code, opened it, and reached inside.
One by one, he took out more than ten copies of a map, each identical to the one he had sold to Donovan. A slow, sinister smile crept across his face as he stared at them.
"I was just wondering how to lure all of you into one net and make everyone suffer heavy losses," he muttered to himself. "Kevin's disappearance has given me the perfect excuse."
His fingers brushed over the stack of maps as his thoughts grew darker. "These have already been quietly sent to the top ten organizations. The extra copies? Straight to the major families in the capital. When the time comes, no one will be able to stay out of it."
He turned sharply toward his subordinate. "Remember this clearly. You must be extremely careful. No matter what happens, they cannot trace the spread of the map back to me."
