Mary took off the bracelet on her wrist and placed it on the table. "She sensed an energy stone at the place we went to today and gave me this. When it's near an energy stone, it heats up. If you place it directly on one, it'll emit a corresponding light."
Ryan immediately understood. The underground market they visited earlier must have had energy stones, and possibly far more dangerous people as well.
His expression grew serious. "Wife, don't enter places like that without me. Even with Mindscape, what if there's something that can suppress it?"
His voice was firm and urgent. There were too many unknowns in this world.
There cannot be a lone item like the mindscape that is illogical. It's like if you believe God and the Angels exist, then you must also accept that the demons and the devil exist too.
If there were things that could strengthen space, then there might also be things that could restrain it.
