"And what about the President of CLS?" Gawin asked.
Rosé slid to the next frame. A man with a sharp, polished look and thin-rimmed glasses appeared: Zhang Wei.
"His name is Zhang Wei," Rosé explained. "He was a Director who previously worked on the Green Hydrogen Project before being moved to lead CLS. Under his command, CLS skyrocketed to its peak performance, making him one of Dr. Li Ming's most trusted favorites."
Adisorn studied the face on the screen, silently calculating the man's power level.
"And the legitimate heir?" Adisorn asked, his voice low and resonant.
Rosé met his eyes and smirked. The screen changed to Li Wenjie, a 27-year-old man with flawless features and a warm gaze that masked a turbulent, soaring ambition.
"The number one contender, currently grooming himself abroad," Rosé said. "Dr. Li Ming's only son and the designated successor to the throne."
Adisorn tilted his head slightly, a small smile playing on his lips.
"This is the one... the real deal," Tum whispered, locking eyes with Adisorn. Even without seeing an aura, he could sense that this man was the shadow of an enemy yet to come.
Adisorn leaned back against the edge of the table, crossing his arms. His gaze traveled across the three faces on the screen.
"Mr. Adisorn... as the one who has to make the first move, which pawn will you choose?" Rosé asked, pressing for a decision. All eyes in the room stayed on Adisorn as his gaze bypassed Zhang Wei and Wenjie, finally coming to rest on the only woman in the group.
"Ms. Miling," he answered clearly.
"Why her?" Tum asked, puzzled. "Isn't she the weakest? The one currently being purged?"
Adisorn's eyes sharpened with the predatory instinct of a hunter. "The weaker they are, the easier they are to control. A dog backed into a corner will do anything to keep its last breath. I will use her as my bridge into the very eye of the CK Group storm."
Adisorn paused, glancing at the undercover specialist. "But first... I need everything you have on a third party: Fan Mingzhi."
The name made Rosé freeze. "The Director of Strategy? He rarely steps into the spotlight." She looked at him with curiosity.
Adisorn nodded. His research had shown the three pillars of CK Group were Dr. Li Ming, Lu Rong, and this Fan Mingzhi—a man who stayed in the shadows. Adisorn could feel it; this was the most dangerous man of them all.
"Since you want him, I'll dig up everything as fast as possible," Rosé promised.
"Good," Adisorn concluded with a cryptic smile. "And make sure a specific rumor reaches Miling's ears... tell her that tomorrow, A.P. Markrim, the M&A specialist from ZX Capital, is meeting the Chairman. Let her know that her only lifeline will be walking through the front doors at 10:00 AM."
Adisorn's instinct whispered that Miling would not let this slip away. She would come to him... right in front of that elevator, exactly as planned.
