Chapter 122: Arriving at the Shandia Tribe

The berserker looked at him with a complicated expression.

  "I can't make that decision."

"It's fine. Just take me to your chief. I'm sure he'll be happy to make this deal with me."

  Jiang Qize smiled.

"Alright!" The berserker gritted his teeth and nodded hard.

It wasn't as if he hadn't considered the consequences of bringing a god of slaughter back with him, but the Shandia people had already lost too many over the years. Their entire lives had been spent fighting, yet nothing had ever changed.

Even in his generation, there was still no sign of progress.

Since that was the case, he might as well put his faith in this blue-sea "fellow countryman." This silver-haired young man gave him a feeling he could trust.

"Let's go. You show us the way."

  Jiang Qize smiled.

As long as he took control of the Shandia, Skypiea would basically be secured.

  "Okay!"

The berserker nodded and slowly stood up.

He took a long look at the enormous ship, shock flooding through him.

The moment the Dragon Flame set sail, he was shaken all over again—especially by its incredible speed.

"So this is a blue-sea ship?" the berserker asked Jiang Qize beside him.

Jiang Qize shook his head with a smile.

"In this world, mine is probably the only ship like this."

Who would've thought of building a ship out of steel? The wood used by the great pirate crews was tough enough to rival normal iron, but wood was still wood. No matter what, it couldn't compare to steel.

"A steel ship that can sail on the sea… amazing," the berserker muttered.

  Jiang Qize chuckled without replying.

But the berserker's gaze shifted toward Camon and little Robin.

"They… are your subordinates? They're already warriors at that age…?"

"They may look young, but you're not necessarily their match."

  "That's impossible!"

  The berserker shook his head.

If he couldn't even beat children that small, it would be far too humiliating. He was one of the strongest among the Shandia, after all.

  "Nothing's impossible."

  "I don't believe it."

  He shook his head again.

"If you don't believe it, once we reach your territory, you can have a match with them," Jiang Qize said with a smile.

"Fine. Just don't accuse me of bullying them."

The berserker stared at Camon, his voice low.

"If you can defeat them, I'll let you join my pirate crew."

As they talked, Gan Fall and his bird stood on the ground, frozen in place, unable to move. All they could do was listen.

Because the terrifying giant beside them was staring straight at them, and a single look from him made their bodies go cold.

Soon, under the berserker's guidance, the Dragon Flame passed through a massive forest and arrived at the Shandia tribe's settlement.

The enormous ship had been spotted from afar. Shandia warriors holding weapons lined up, their faces grim as they watched it approach.

Then, the berserker leapt from the Dragon Flame, gliding down to land in front of the Shandia warriors.

  "Chief!"

He called out to the elder wearing a wolf-head headdress.

"Wyper, they are…" the chief asked as he looked at Jiang Qize and the others walking down the ramp.

"Chief, they're blue-sea people—and they say they can return us to Apayado and ring the Golden Bell!"

  The berserker spoke solemnly.

  "What…"

  "Is that true?"

"He knows where the Golden Bell is?"

"How is that possible? We've searched for hundreds of years."

The surrounding Shandia warriors cried out in shock, unable to believe it.

The chief stared at Jiang Qize, his expression heavy, then stepped forward.
