Chapter 121: wyper the Berserker
Clang!
A sharp slash shot out.
"Boom… boom…"
The slash struck the incoming cannonball, slicing it cleanly in half before it exploded.
Whoosh—
As flames and smoke surged outward, a figure emerged—bare-chested like a wild man, a massive weapon slung over his shoulder that made a rocket launcher look elegant. On his feet were strange shoes that let him skim across the cloud sea at high speed.
A pair of wings stretched behind him, and he held a rectangular orange shield in one hand.
"The berserker?"
Jiang Qize raised an eyebrow, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
He had to admit—wyper looked pretty cool like this.
"Catch him."
He gave a simple order.
There was no need for Robin or the others to act. The Raptorex immediately reached out with its enormous hand to grab wyper.
Swish, swish, swish—
But wyper weaved through the air with astonishing agility, gliding across the cloud sea like he was ice skating, slipping just out of reach of the Raptorex's grasp.
He spun around sharply and aimed his handsome, rocket-launcher-like weapon at Raptorex.
A flash—then a blast.
Boom!!
A flaming shell launched straight into the Giant's hand.
Kaboom!
The shell erupted, flames exploding outward and engulfing the creature's arm.
wyper smiled coldly and darted toward the massive ship.
But when the flames dispersed, he froze.
The Raptorex Giant's hand was completely unharmed—not even scorched.
"Impossible!" wyper shouted.
He knew exactly how strong his Burn Bazooka was. Even Gan Fall didn't dare take a shot head-on. Yet this massive creature had endured it without a scratch…
He wasn't unfamiliar with giant beings either. White Sea was full of sky fish—one shot from the Burn Bazooka could seriously injure them.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Refusing to accept it, he fired repeatedly while closing in on the Dragon Flame.
Shells detonated across The Giant's arm, shockwaves rippling out through smoke and flame, swallowing the sky in fiery flashes.
Buzz—
Suddenly the Giant's hand sped up, blurring as it snatched wyper's weaving form in an instant.
He didn't even have time to react.
With full-body enhancement and speed far from inferior—and strength on par with a Marine admiral—catching a single warrior like wyper was trivial. Ryuryu had simply been toying with him earlier.
"Agh—!"
wyper cried out in pain as his body went limp.
On the Dragon Flame, then Ryuryu tossed him beside Gan Fall.
Thud!
Gan Fall looked at him, a wave of sorrow rising in his chest. Even wyper hadn't escaped.
He had fought the Shandians for so long. wyper was one of their strongest warriors, a master of Reject Dials, and with his Vever boots powered by wind shells he could glide freely across the sea. Almost no one could catch him.
Yet these Blue Sea dwellers captured him in a single encounter.
Facing this group, Gan Fall felt not even a sliver of hope.
"wyper of the Shandians."
Jiang Qize crouched in front of him, smiling as he looked him over.
"You… how do you know my name?" wyper stared, stunned.
"I not only know your name—I know you're all Blue Sea people too."
Jiang Qize smiled.
To be honest, he liked wyper and the Shandians far more than Gan Fall and his people, though he couldn't quite explain why.
"What…"
Shock rippled through wyper's chest—followed by a faint tremor of excitement, like something deep inside him had been struck.
"I can return your people and ring the Golden Bell—but you must swear loyalty to me."
Jiang Qize said this with a calm smile.
The Shandians were warriors. Their instincts in battle were exceptional, and their ability to fight the Straw Hats using dials spoke volumes about their talent.
And they were straightforward. For more than four hundred years, they had fought for a single goal. Once they chose to submit, they would never betray him lightly.
