Yugh silently and safely stopped the car in front of Anisa's apartment. As he got out and looked at her, the weight he still carried from the past regarding Zahra was clearly visible in his eyes. šš
"Go inside and lock the door," he said in a soft yet firm voice.
Anisa nodded.
"Thanksā¦for tonight," she said. š
Without saying anything, Yugh took his coat back from her. For a moment, he lingered there, understanding that even if he had something to say, it wasn't the right time. Finally, he turned and got back into his car.
The moment Anisa opened the door and entered her home, the tension that had been throughout her body instantly shattered. Sitting on the sofa in the living room, she looked at the clock, the time was 3:20 AM.ā³
Even with her eyes closed, everything that had happened replayed vividly in her mind.
The dark roadā¦
The moment her phone diedā¦
Yugh's concerned voiceā¦
The warmth of his coat⦠š„
"What am I doingā¦" she whispered to herself in a muffled voice.
Despite having a fiancĆ©, the fact that she had sought protection from someone else weighed heavily on her heart. Sleep felt very distant. š

On the other hand, after learning that Hasan was at the police station, his mother had immediately gone there without any delay. Using her name, influence, and connections, she had resolved the case so it wouldn't escalate into a bigger issue.
"This is not an unusual act for a young man,"
she said in a calm but powerful voice, and finally, Hasan was released. šŖ
Though Hasan returned home with his mother, his mind was still in disarray. Since his phone was on silent mode, he didn't hear any of the calls coming from Asifa.
Meanwhile, Asifa was awake in her hotel room, unable to sleep. Hasan still hadn't arrived, and though she called him repeatedly, none of the calls connected, increasing her fear. š„
"Why aren't you answering even one callā¦"
she said, holding her phone and pacing back and forth in the room.
That night,
unbeknownst to anyone else, all of them were fighting their own separate battles within their hearts, unable to sleep. š£
