[10,000 Years ago, Wan's Tree home] Wan: *walks into his tree home holding 3 rolls* Jaya: *looks at Wan* Did you try to steal from the Chu's again? Wan: *gives the first roll to Jaya, then the second to Yao* Yeah, but I couldn't get anything serious. If only I had taken their main food source, we'd be eating like them *he feeds his roll to animals and sighs* I suppose I got a plan. *he smirks* [The following day; In the City] Sargent: Are you men ready? Are you all set to go into the wilds? Wan: *walks up to him* I am. Sargent: *starts laughing at him* We're going into the wilds for a week. You wouldn't even last 2 seconds out there. Wan: I can handle it… We get fire, right? Sargent: Yes, but do you know how to use it? Wan: Well no but… Citizen¹: Oh, just let him join already. It's not like many people are going to join our hunt. Sargent: Alright. Welcome to the hunt. [The all head out of the city and stand up the edge of a cliff] Sargent: *blows his horn* Fire Lion Turtle: *rises out of the ground and looks at the group* Wan: The lion turtle. Sargent: Great guardian of the city. We are venturing into the spirit wilds to bring back food for our people. Please grant us the power of fire. Fire Lion Turtle: The power of fire is yours to keep until your return from the spirit wilds. Sargent: *faces Wan* You first, kid. Wan: *steps up* Fire Lion Turtle: *places its middle finger on Wan's chest and his index on his forehead and grants him to power of firebending* [They begin to travel out into the spirit wilds] Wan: *he looks down sadly* I don't think I can do this. Sargent: I thought so. Just go back and return your power to the lion turtle. We'll go on ahead without you. Wan: *turns around sadly before smirking as he walks back to the city* [Later that day, Wan's Tree home] Jaya: Hey Wan. Did you bring back any goods for us? Yao: *nods* Yes, we are hungry. Wan: *points at hid hand as it emits fire* Jaya: You know stealing from the lion turtle is wrong. Wan: Really? Because I just did. [Later that night, Inside the City] Wan: *walks up to the city his with allies behind him* Jaya: You know bringing the power of fire is forbidden in the city. You can still return it to the lion turtle. Wan: Jaya. You have to stop being afraid of the Chu's. We have to show them our strength. *he wears his mask along with his allies as they enter the palace via his fire* Everyone. *he burns open the main food supply storage unit door* Grab as much food as you can. *he looks to the side and sees an army* I'll hold off the guards while you guys leave. [Wan tries his best to keep the guards at bay and finally gets all of his allies and friends out of there safely but as he tries to escape, his mask gets taken off and he gets pounced on by several guards who capture and by the next morning they take him to the Fire Lion Turtle] Head Chu: Tell me who else was in the raid last night and I might forgive you. Wan: *speaks in a defiant tone as two guards hold his arms* As if I would tell you. Head Chu: Well, then Wan. I banish you from this city! Now, return your fire to the Lion Turtle. Wan: *gets pushed forward* Great Lion Turtle, I apologise for stealing your fire, but if I want to protect myself out there in the wilds. I'll need you power of fire. Fire Lion Turtle: Never return to this city, but I will allow you to keep the power of the element. Wan: Thank you. *nods before walking away in shame* [Wan goes through several trials and tribulations as he journeys out into the wilds as he faces Spirit after spirit. But after a few days of being lost, he crashes down a hill and sees an oasis] Wan: *runs towards the oasis as fast as he can* Aye-aye spirit: *pushes Wan back* No humans allowed in my oasis! Wan: *falls on his backside* Please, I need your help. I'm hungry, lost, and I have no home. Aye-aye spirit: *folds its arms* Not my problem. Wan: Let me pass! *he sends a fire ball towards his feet* Aye-aye spirit: You dare use fire against me?! *he teleports beside Wan before he tosses him into a bush.* Wan: *sighs sadly as he sees several spirits walking towards the oasis* Idea. *he covers himself within the bushes and walks along the spirits* Aye-aye spirit: May I ask. Who might you be? Wan: I am Booshi. The Bush spirit. Aye-aye spirit: *lifts up his disguise* I knew it! Wan: *smiles guiltily* Uhm… Hi. Aye-aye spirit: *kicks him into the river* Go back to your Lion Turtle. Wan: Believe me, I would like to but I can't. Spirit¹: Poor human. Spirit²: Maybe you should try looking for another Lion Turtle. Wan: Wait, there are more? Aye-aye spirit: Yes, there are! You humans are so stupid! Wan: Thanks… *he sighs as he turns in hopes to find it* [Later that day, Wan stumbles upon a Cat-deer being hunted by the Sargent and his men. He saves the Cat-deer along with the help of the Aye-aye spirit, garnering its respect and trust. And so for the next 2 years Wan lived with the spirits and protected them as if he was one of their own until the day came he had to go look for a new home] Wan: *now has longer hair as he gets ontop of his Cat-deer's back* Aye-aye spirit: Well goodluck, Stinky. Wan: Thank you all for everything. *he rides off into the woods* [As Wan was travelling into the woods, he finds two spirits engaged in a Pearce battle] Vaatu: *struggling to get away from Raava* Human! Help me! I've been fighting this spirit for over a thousand years! Raava: *pinning down Raava* Don't get yourself involved human! This is none of your business! Wan: Well, I'm about to make it my business! *he blasts his fire in order to separate the two from one another* Raava: *screams as she gets slightly smaller* You fool! Vaatu: *laughs as he flies away* Oh what a happy! Happy day! Raava: Do you know what you just did? Wan: I just helped a spirit from getting bullied by you! Raava: You know nothing! You just set the spirit of pure darkness and evil free to terrorise the world! Wan: *his eyes open in fear* What have I done…
