Chapter 207 - İki Yüz Yedi

Ten days later, more than forty thousand warriors stood in front of the headquarters captured by only a single orc. They were waiting breathlessly behind their commander, who was looking at the target with bloodshot eyes from atop her horse-like mount.

"I know you're in there, come out, you dog!"

Gregoria couldn't control her anger; while the person she had wanted to kill for years was waiting for her inside the walls facing her, the ember of the fire of revenge had settled in her heart.

"Welcome, second commander of the Black Lily Clan Siege Armies; what wind blew you to such a distant place!"

Unlike the young and attractive girl, the middle-aged man atop the walls was displaying quite a calm attitude; you could even say his voice carried tints of friendship, however slight.

"Don't play word games with me, you old geezer, I came to bury this headquarters along with everyone inside!"

The woman, who resembled a poisonous flower in every aspect and had no reverse gear, had harsh words, and her gazes were as piercing as a knife heated in a forge.

"Is that so? I'm afraid I'm not going to let you do what you want. If you want to capture my castle, you have to pay a great price for it, and I see that your caliber isn't big enough for this!"

The moment Jurij, who ended the sentence he started smiling with his index finger pointing at the enemy, finished his words, the intense fire of the archers positioned on the walls would begin.

Gregoria was so full of anger that she had pursued attacking without putting the forces under her command into the necessary formation and letting them rest; Nafız and her subordinates, predicting this event would happen, had made all preparations.

"Stay calm, take defensive formation!"

A resonant male voice would ring out within the panic-stricken attack forces; the hulking man named Naldo was very calm, unlike the attractive woman.

When the Black Lily forces, which lost a few thousand warriors as a result of the surprise attack, recovered, the casualties would be less than Jurij expected.

"Slow down the attacks a bit, let them come at us!"

At the corner of the wall where the Fox commander was located, there was someone hidden by a hooded archer's tunic; this person was none other than Nafız, the sole responsible party for the events taking place.

The enemy forces didn't resemble the marauders gathered by the Mercenaries; the moment they got over their initial surprise, the arrows no longer had a deadly aspect for them.

"Attack, tear down those walls!"

When Gregoria saw the incoming attack decreasing, she thought the reason for this was the enemy's lack of ammunition; when she gave the mass assault order, the insides of her eyes were shining.

The main support headquarters used to be a place surrounded by high walls after a water canal of ten paces, and the Black Lily forces had come here with this information in hand, but the scene they saw right now was completely different.

The water canal had reached a size at least twice its original state, and the walls, already high, had extended five paces more if nothing else.

With this addition, the completely flat walls had gained small openings to launch attacks against the enemy outside, starting to provide much more protection to the soldiers on top.

Despite this, Gregoria's forces didn't pause even for a moment; while the vast majority piled up where the drawbridge was, the others were jumping into the water from all sides without thinking to cross it.

"Aaaaaa!"

"My face, my face is melting, help me!"

"My legs!"

These sounds coming after the attack cries thrown with ambition were surprising at first, but when similar cries started coming from everywhere, the feeling it gave was just fearfulness.

"Get out of the water quickly, stop the attack immediately!"

Naldo was shouting frantically; after the pleas coming from everyone entering the canal without exception, it was certain there was something fishy going on.

The warriors pulling back their friends who had just taken their first steps from the water would be the first to face the bitter truth; the parts of the rescued ones that contacted the water were no longer there, instead, they were finding body parts that had started to melt.

"Open fire!"

The nickname Fox couldn't be given to a person just for the sake of it; seeing the state the enemy fell into, how could Jurij stand with his hands tied?

The arrow rain would start again after a short break; the attacks coming from the headquarters today were like a spring rain catching a person unprepared by starting intermittently during the day.

This wasn't the biggest obstacle for the attacking side; even if they didn't know exactly what it was, there was a water canal in front of them from which those who entered couldn't come out alive.

"I'm starting to get bored, handle this business!"

When the sexy commander, rushing back and forth like a fireball inside her black leather outfit, called out turning to the man standing behind her at all times, a scimitar almost as big as Ölümün Rüzgârı's glaive would appear in Naldo's hand.

"Fall back!"

While the hulking man shouted with his booming voice, he had also grasped his giant weapon with both hands and raised it above his head.

"Tell the soldiers on that side to clear the wall, immediately!"

As soon as Nafız realized there was something weird, she gave her order to Jurij loudly; after this state of the person he had previously agreed with via eye signals, the old Fox wouldn't waste any time.

"Clear the wall, everyone get down!"

The mercenaries were people living with the consciousness that they could come face to face with death at any moment; after such a reaction, they moved away from the said place at top speed without wasting even a single breath.

Naldo was still in the same position; only his arms holding the weapon had swollen a bit, and the surface of the giant scimitar had turned into a gray color covered with a red halo on the outside.

"Shatter!"

A single word groaned in the battlefield buried in silence as of that moment; the next scene was magnificent enough to give goosebumps to those who saw it.

The gray layer on the weapon he struck savagely on the ground had passed into the soil and was advancing towards the water canal, which had caused the death of many soldiers, like a wave three paces long from the ground.

Three breaths later, the gray energy separating from the soil would collide with the water that gained a madly corrosive effect with Nafız's skill; as a result, there was Naldo's attack continuing on its way at full throttle after a giant water spray.

What would happen subsequently was quite clear and distinct; the attack hitting the high wall had dispersed, leaving behind an opening leveled to the ground on the wall.

Creating a breach in the wall was a big problem, but what was even more important was that the deep fissure formed on the ground as a result of Naldo's attack was deep enough to take in most of the water in the canal.

The support headquarters had lost both defense mechanisms; the Black Lily forces reaching here easily were filling inside rapidly.

"Force really spoils the game; I wasn't expecting that moron woman to come with someone this strong by her side!"

Watching the enemy commander with one eye, Nafız was checking out the hubbub forming inside the walls with the other. Her face had fallen as a result of their defenses falling this quickly, but it couldn't be said that she harbored fear or a similar emotion.

Due to the latest developments, the inside of the wall was in chaos; when it came to hand-to-hand combat, the Black Lily forces were indisputably the superior side, leagues ahead of their current enemies in terms of both weapons and war techniques.

After the first clash, the business was slowly starting to shift towards a one-sided slaughter, and the attitudes and movements of the soldiers were in this direction too. They were instinctively retreating, starting to look for an opportunity to flee to save their lives.

"Naldo! We are going in too, that orc whore is mine, don't you dare lay a hand on her!"

After speaking while foaming at the mouth, Gregoria hit the flank of the creature under her hard with the whip in her hand.

Just as the rearing mount was about to move complying with its rider's wish, the eyes of everyone in the Black Lily forces remaining outside the walls were fixed on a person jumping down from the ruined wall.

Following the shrill scream that came after and seeing the inscription patterns passing under their feet at the speed of light, two words echoed in all of their ears.

"Blood Dome!"
