After crossing the portal Agnes found her self in the forest outside the monetary.it was dark.she looked at the baby and broke down.she cried immensely knowing that vespera was now gone and she had left such a huge responsibility in her hands.she knew she had to do everything in her power to keep lyra safe.she gave the baby a little kiss on the fore head and got up and headed towards the monestry.she went to the dorms where the nuns stayed.There was no one inside.she wiped the baby with some warm water and covered the baby with so.e bed sheets.she carried the child and headed towards the church.she loathed the other monks for their poor judgement.They all knew vespera since she used to serve in the church when she was young and she was a very kind soul.They all loved her and she loved them wholeheartedly.Bt now they were busy rebuking her.no one wanted to listen to her.they called a hypocrite and greatly participated in the Royal decree to kill bespera.she remembered how those appointed to kill vespera considered themselves for having being given an opportunity to put an end to "Satan's twin"herself.

As she walked inside the church her footsteps were heard echoing from all corners of the spacious room.all the sisters were gathered at the alter praying for those who had gone to slay the demon.she knew that God was just and the truth would come out clearly.she continued walking her footsteps even louder this tym round.Her voice was void of any emotion.when she reached at the enter of the church she stood.The rest had finished praying and the head nun approached her."Agnes what kind of behaviour is ,,,,ever since we started hunting down the demon your behaviour has been very off.Or has she bound you under her spell..."Agnes said nothing and just stored at Marie the head nun.she was the youngest nun in monetary and was quite pretty.Her father was so upset when she decided to become a nun .He had wanted her to get married to the prince but Agnes had chosen to give her life to God.she was also very intelligent and was a renowned doctor at a very young age.Marie always seemed to have an issue with Agnes.she didn't like the girls attitude.agnes was more stubborn tha anyone else Marie had met but she knew.but she still liked her .She saw rebellions in Agness eyes.then she noted a baby in Agnes eyes."where are you coming from and whose baby is this"There was anger in Marie's voice and she did not try to hide it.she felt that Agnes should have been part of the prayers and that it was a matter of the kingdoms well being.
