"After I go down, seal the tunnel," Jiang Yan instructed.
He patted Luo Feng's shoulder and leapt into the shaft.
"Be careful, Brother Jiang!" Luo Feng called out, immediately filling the tunnel behind him.

A monstrous bellow shook the underground space, assaulting his ears. A massive tentacle whipped toward him.

Jiang Yan's voice was icy. His spear flashed, cleaving the tentacle cleanly in two.
A shrill howl echoed as the creature recoiled, retreating without daring to attack again.
"If I weren't busy," Jiang Yan snorted, "you'd already be dead."
He continued drilling downward.
Meteorite Star… roughly fifteen thousand meters.
At ten thousand meters underground, Jiang Yan stopped.
"Good," he said softly. "Time to make some noise."
The power of the Law of Thunder erupted. Lightning manifested from nothing, crackling wildly around him, turning his figure into a living embodiment of thunder.
Spear in hand, Jiang Yan began bombarding the depths relentlessly.

Within the dim cockpit, a small devil-like figure with antennae lay motionless in the pilot's seat, eyes closed in deep slumber.
