Jiang Yan looked at Hong with a calm smile.
Hong's lips twitched slightly. "What objections could I possibly have? Go on, don't keep her waiting."
He paused, then added with a faint sigh, "I didn't even notice when the two of you grew so close."
Despite his words, there was no displeasure in his expression—only quiet approval.
Enchantress was officially his personal guard, but in truth, Hong had always treated her more like family. If she chose Jiang Yan, he was more than willing to see it happen.
Jiang Yan smiled. Without further ceremony, he turned and left the headquarters vessel alongside her.
Thor watched their retreating figures and shook his head with mock envy.
"Youth really is unfair. I did some checking—this kid has more than a few women around him, yet it hasn't slowed his cultivation in the slightest. Absolutely unreasonable."
Hong chuckled. "He's still young. We're not anymore."
After spending some quiet time together, Jiang Yan returned to the elite training camp.
The first thing he did was hand Luo Feng the bottle of dragon blood, instructing him to use it immediately and not delay.

Janet, meanwhile, stood firmly at High-Level God of War, only a step away from the same title.
"What surprised me," Jiang Fang continued, "is Luo Feng. Top ten in his first year—his talent is truly exceptional."
Janet nodded in agreement. "It's frightening, honestly."
Jiang Yan smiled faintly. "He used dragon blood yesterday. As a spiritual master, his actual combat strength has already surpassed yours."
Janet and Jiang Fang both froze.
"Already?" they asked in unison.
Jiang Yan nodded, briefly explaining how Luo Feng's combat amplitude had reached twelve.
Then his expression grew serious.
"This life-and-death expedition to the Australian mainland… something will happen," he said calmly. "Sister Fang, no matter what occurs, stay at headquarters. Do not go."
With her current foundation, Jiang Fang needed only a grass-and-tree spirit or a wood crystal to break through—but those items would inevitably attract planetary-level experts worldwide. God of War-level fighters would be nothing more than collateral.
"I understand," Jiang Fang replied without hesitation. "You should also be careful. Australia is no joke."
Before the Nirvana Era, the continent had been sparsely populated. Now, decades later, it had become a monster-dominated wasteland—ranked alongside the Amazon and the Sahara as one of Earth's three most dangerous regions.
Jiang Yan smiled with quiet confidence. "With my current strength, there isn't much on Earth that can threaten me."

Today marked the start of the Australian Mainland Life-and-Death Trial.
They were waiting because Hong himself was scheduled to appear.
"I've been here for years and still haven't seen Hong in person," someone whispered excitedly.

Shi Jiang's gaze grew distant. "A god," he said slowly.

He still remembered that moment—the distortion of space, the fading of light, the sensation of standing within a world of endless night.
And within that darkness—one figure, radiant like the sun.

A student suddenly spoke up. "Have you seen Jiang Shen or Luo Feng? Janet isn't here either."
The crowd stirred.
Even Renates, Ebenpas, Chu Qiang, and the others scanned the area—yet Jiang Yan was nowhere to be found.
Li Wei walked over, wearing an unmistakably smug expression.
"Stop looking," he said. "Jiang Shen took Luo Feng to Australia early this morning."
Silence.
"What?" Zhao Ruo stared at him. "How do you know?"
"I saw it myself," Li Wei replied calmly.
In truth, Jiang Yan had personally instructed him to remain behind and continue cultivating—but Li Wei had chosen not to mention that part.
Meanwhile, on the Australian mainland.
Jiang Yan hovered above a vast, unfamiliar expanse, the map projected before his eyes dominated by uncharted territory.
He rubbed his temples.
"Finding Kirishima won't be easy."
After comparing it with pre-Nirvana records, his gaze settled on one region.
"This area has the densest concentration of lakes," he said decisively. "We'll start there."
