Chapter 72 - I want to go

"Grandpa Luke, Grandma Sansa, we've come to see you!"

As soon as the car door opened, Nia jumped out like the wind and threw herself into Luke's arms.

"It's been a long time, Nia. How have you been since school started?"

"No, school is so boring," Nia pouted and complained. "I want to go to Hogwarts."

"Nia isn't old enough yet, we'll have to wait two more years," Luke said, offering words of comfort before looking up at the Herberts. "Let's go inside and talk."

Sansa looked at her granddaughter and asked, "Nia, have you missed me?"

"Grandma Sansa, I missed you so much." Nia threw herself into the old woman's arms, making Sansa giggle.

"Albert sent something back via owl, I think…" Herb was interrupted by Luke before he could finish speaking.

Luke looked up and around, then looked at the Herberts again and reminded them, "Let's go inside and talk about it."

"Albert also had an owl send us some things, and we were just looking at them," Sansa said with a smile to the Herberts after entering the house. "I never expected that the drinks wizards drink would taste so strange."

"Don't leave your cat in the car," Luke reminded Herb, turning to her.

"I brought it with me." Daisy carried the cat carrier into the house and closed the entryway door behind her.

In the living room, Shera was resting at the table, eating owl nuts that Albert had put in a box.

Tom had just been released from the cage when he jumped onto the table and stared at the owl, both poised to fight.

"Stop fooling around, Tom." Daisy reached out and scooped Tom up, placing him on her lap.

"These are also things Albert sent back," Herb said, placing the large box on the table and glancing at the open box next to it.

"You don't know your son well enough," Daisy glanced at Herb. "Even if you forget, he won't."

Albert has always been Daisy's pride!

What? Other people's children are better?

Nonsense, who said that?

No one's child is as good as your own.

"But where did Albert buy these things? He doesn't go to Hogwarts or anything like that." Sansa was puzzled; the school certainly didn't sell these things.

"It must have been ordered by Owl Mail." Herb knew very well how capable Albert was; it wasn't the first time he had shopped from Diagon Alley in London through Owl Mail.

"Can we open the package now?" Nia asked impatiently.

"Of course," Herb said with a smile.

The package was delivered this morning. However, after discussing it with his family, Herb decided to share the joy with his parents, so the whole family rushed over by car.

Inside the package was a rolled-up parchment tied with a red ribbon, next to a paper bag with a photo on it. Below that were several bottles of drinks and some snacks.

Nia picked up the paper bag, opened it, and found it was full of photos taken by Albert, each with a numbered sequence.

The first photo is of the red Hogwarts Express.

"Parchment and photographs, here we have those too." Sansa handed the pile of photographs to Daisy, picked up the parchment and introduced, "Albert said this is the Hogwarts Express, used to transport children to Hogwarts."

"I never thought wizards would ride steam locomotives to school!" Daisy picked up the photo and looked at it carefully, then couldn't help but complain, "You can't find this kind of antique anywhere in England anymore."

As she spoke, Daisy handed the photo to her husband and took a bottle of... pumpkin juice from the box.

"It looks like a beverage." She opened the pumpkin-shaped cap on the glass bottle, poured some into a glass, and took a small sip.

"How is it?" Herb asked.

"It tastes a bit strange." Daisy poured the remaining pumpkin juice from the bottle into other glasses and distributed them to the other family members in the living room.

Nia took the cup, took a small sip, and frowned slightly. "This juice tastes so strange. It doesn't taste as good as the juice sold outside."

After finishing his drink, Herb blinked and said, "It's not that it tastes bad, but it does taste really strange."

"I'd almost forgotten what this tasted like," Luke said softly, a nostalgic look in his eyes.

After finishing her pumpkin juice, Nia pointed to the butterbeer in the box and said, "I want to drink this!"

"But this looks like… beer." Daisy looked at the words "Butterbeer" on the label, a little conflicted. She didn't want her daughter to drink alcohol at this age.

"It's alright, we just had it. It's not like beer, and it doesn't have much alcohol. It's more like a beverage, otherwise Albert wouldn't have sent it back," Luke reassured softly. "It tastes a bit like a less sweet hard butter candy."

Luke poured some of the freshly opened butterbeer for Herb and Daisy to try before deciding whether to give it to Nia.

"It does have a strong buttery aroma," Daisy sniffed, took a small sip, and found the texture smooth.

"It says here that butterbeer is very popular in the wizarding world, just like soda here. It's not exactly bad, but the taste is a bit strange."

"Why do wizards like to drink this stuff?" Nia pouted and took another small sip.

"Drink less, there's still a trace amount of alcohol in it," Daisy reminded her.

"At least let me finish the butterbeer in my glass." After Nia finished the rest of her butterbeer, her interest in magical drinks waned considerably.

"There's only a trace amount of alcohol in it. As long as you don't drink too much, even minors won't have any problems," Herb reassured him. But after being glared at by his wife, he obediently shut up. He knew Daisy cared a lot about their children's upbringing.

The other items in the box were also taken out and placed on the table; the rest were all snacks bought for Nia.

Nia opened the chocolate frog, took a bite, and seemed to be lost in thought.

Daisy untied the ribbon and handed the rolled-up parchment to Herbert, asking him to read the contents of the letter.

This letter provides a very detailed description of Hogwarts Castle.

From the moment they crossed the lake to passing through the oak gates of Hogwarts Castle and entering the Great Hall for the Sorting Ceremony, this letter gradually unveiled the secrets of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to them.

The roof is enchanted, and the entrance to the kitchen below the hall is actually a painting of fruit. You can also talk to the portraits in the corridor by going up a moving staircase.

The castle also contains various magical secret passages, pranks on the stairs, ghosts living in the castle, walking knights in armor, classrooms, long corridors, and the gatekeeper of the Gryffindor common room: the Fat Lady.

Entering the Gryffindor common room, they went up the stairs to their dormitory and met their three roommates.

This six-foot-long letter provides the Anderson family with a detailed introduction to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and together with maps and photographs, it makes one feel as if they have personally visited Hogwarts Castle.

Nia leaned on Daisy's shoulder and mumbled, "I want to go too!"
