Chapter 9 - 9

"HMM!" What the hell is happening?

Claus's kiss started getting more violent and hungry. He tightened his grip, making it almost impossible for Celea to escape.

"Wait!" said Celea through the kiss.

Some time later, Claus stopped the kiss, never loosening his grip on her.

He watched her trying to catch her breath, and all he could think about was how badly he wanted her—needed her.

He picked her up and put her on the bed, getting on top of her, and started attacking her lips again. He held her face with one hand and touched the side of her body with the other. Celea tried to stop him, but Claus took her hands above her head and kept them still with one hand, never breaking the kiss, while the other hand kept exploring her body.

Celea was angry.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and flipped them, ending up on top of him. Her hair was now messy, her face red, and she was out of breath. She looked down at the king with an angry expression.

Claus looked at her and smirked.

"If you wanted to be on top, you should've just said so," he said, placing his hands on her hips.

"I don't know what your problem is or what made you change like this, but I'm warning you, King—stay out of my way, or I'll end up hurting you. It already takes all my might not to kill you right now." death stare

She removed his hands from her hips and proceeded to get off him, but the king had other plans.

Claus sat up and wrapped his arms tightly around her lower back, stopping her from getting off.

stare

"Actually, I'm the one who should warn you, dear mate…" gets closer

"You better stop flirting with other men, or I'll kiss you every time you do."

"I didn't flirt, and you have no right to tell me what to do." calm

"I got that 'right' the moment you stepped foot inside this palace."

"Where did you go after the training?"

"That is none of your business." calm

evil smile "I'm your mate. You are my business whether you like it or not. You belong to me and only me."

smirk "You are wrong, King. I'm not your mate. Your so-called mate died fifteen years ago on your command—or did you forget already?"

The king frowned and leaned even closer, to which Celea placed the tips of her fingers on his lips and slowly pushed him away.

The king proceeded to kiss her fingers one by one while looking into Celea's expressionless eyes. Claus smirked, covered her eyes with his other hand, and pushed her down again, now with him on top of her.

He started giving her small kisses on her cheeks, lips, and neck. Claus soon focused entirely on her neck. Celea knew what he was thinking—he wanted to mark her.

She took the hand covering her eyes, placed both her hands on the sides of his head, gently moved his face away from her neck, and made him look her in the eyes.

"You will not mark me." calm

Claus smirked and moved to her ear. He kissed it and whispered,

"Don't worry, love. I won't do it now. But I will mark you in the near future, so you'd better be prepared, because I won't hold back."

He then pecked her lips and got off the bed.

Celea sat up and looked up at him. Claus bent down and gave her one last kiss.

"You are mine. No matter how much you hate me, I won't let you go."

He left the room.

After what happened that night, we were informed the next morning that a small village at the border of Lycan territory had been attacked, so the knights and I had to go there for investigation and to look for survivors.

"Just who could do something like that…?" (knight)

"This is what I imagined Hell to look like…" (knight)

Their shock was to be expected. The whole village was now ashes.

"We're going to have to split. Team A goes west. Michael, you take charge. Team B comes with me east—look for survivors and clues as to what may have caused this. Now go."

Searching

"Commander! We found something!"

"What is it?" sees

"I see… so that's how it is."

"Put it in a bag and bring it with us to the palace."

"Yes, Commander."

"Commander! Michael just mind-linked me!"

"What is he saying?"

"They found a survivor, though he's still unconscious."

"You take command of Team B. I'm going to see that survivor."

"Do you think he can make it?"

The guy in front of me looked like a fried chicken.

"He's going to make it because I'm here."

"With his healing ability and my medical skills, there's no way he'll die—at least not on my watch."

"Michael!"

"Yes, Commander!"

"Get twenty guys and set up a camp. The rest should keep searching, and send the witch to me."

"Yes, Commander."

"Commander, you called for me?"

"Yes, Andrea. How long will it take you to teleport us back to the palace?"

"It's a big number to teleport at once for such a long distance, so I'll have to split the teleportation into three stops—one every day. That will take three days, Commander."

"Three days… alright."

"Andrea, I need you to assist me in healing this fried chicken."

"Yes, Commander."

"Alright… he just passed the critical stage. He'll survive."

"Wow, Commander, you're amazing. I didn't know you had medical skills."

Smile. The witch and a few knights who were there were now looking at her with admiration.

"I am quite amazing, aren't I?"

They then went outside to the other knights.

"You burned the food!"

"And why does it look like that?"

"Are you sure this is even edible?"

Sigh.

"Just what are you guys doing?"

"COMMANDER!"

"Wow, this sure looks like something someone with a death wish would put in their mouth."

Blush.

"It's not as bad as it looks."

"Really? Then would you mind giving it a try?"

Looks away.

Sigh.

"What else do we have?"
