Arlene's POV
"She seems eager to make her entrance," I tell him honestly. Warner gestures for me to continue with the update.
"Everything looks healthy. What about the children?"
"Rockford has never been happier. He adores spending time with Warner."
"That's exactly how it should be. And what about Nicholson?"
"She's struggling with Rockford not sharing everything with her anymore. She's thrilled about how her personal space will look, but she can't understand why she won't be in the same room as Rockford."
"This happens frequently with twins. Since Nicholson is older and female, she feels protective of Rockford. I suggest taking her on activities without him present. Show her that independence can be just as rewarding."
"I think she senses something's wrong," I confess.
He never sugarcoats his responses. It's difficult not to trust him or view him as harmless, considering everything. I suppose I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. For now, I appreciate his guidance.
