Chapter 5 - Something He Doesn't Realize

Near the bus stop, Noel fought three men because they didn't believe that an Omega could fight. And from that fight, they realized that Noel was capable of defeating them.

This was very embarrassing for one of the Alphas who participated in the fight. Doni, an Alpha who didn't want to be defeated by an Omega he looked down on, immediately took out his pocket knife to attack Noel.

He brutally ran towards him, attacking him repeatedly, but Noel was able to dodge the blows. However, he was exhausted.

Finally, just as he was about to be stabbed by the knife, another Alpha suddenly appeared behind him, releasing threatening pheromones that frightened the four of them.

"Who are you?!" Doni asked, trembling so much that the knife slipped from his hand.

"Stay out of our business! Don't interfere!" He tried to appear unfazed by the powerful pheromones surrounding them.

Meanwhile, his two friends were too scared to say anything. The pheromones were very intimidating, suppressing the hormones they had previously released to fight Noel.

Noel recognized the Alpha as Alastair. The Alpha he had met last week had now reappeared before him. From the look on his face, it was clear that Alastair was not happy with what he was seeing.

His strong, large hands immediately grabbed Doni by the neck and slammed his body against the bus stop pole.

"How dare you do this to him. What are you trying to do? Kill him? You'll die first at my hands if you dare touch him again."

It was not a warning, but a threat that would be carried out if Doni dared to approach Noel again. He would not hesitate to do it with just one hand, grabbing his neck until it broke.

He even lifted the body in front of him, so that his feet were no longer touching the ground. Doni grabbed Alastair's wrist, begging to be released even though he couldn't reach the ground below him.

"Please forgive me! I'm really sorry. I swear I won't touch him again! Please forgive me!" he pleaded fearfully.

Alastair's brown eyes then turned to Doni's two friends, Ryan and John. The two men immediately gasped in fear and begged not to be killed too. They also swore they would never touch Noel again, let alone try to hurt him.

Thinking they were still easy targets, Alastair shoved Doni to the ground, causing him to hit the ground and turn to look at Noel.

"Are you okay?" he asked in a voice that still sounded cold, though there was a hint of concern in it.

"I'm fine." Even though he answered that way, the dominant Alpha knew that the Omega in front of him was not fine.

He turned his head to look at the three men over his shoulder.

"Now get out of my sight. I don't want to see you again in three seconds. Three... Two..."

The three of them immediately gathered their belongings and ran away as fast as they could from the mafia boss. They were convinced that the man was part of a mafia group, judging by his attitude, his clothes, and his immense strength.

After they left, Noel felt so relieved that he almost collapsed. Luckily, Alastair caught him before he hit the ground.

"I knew you would be exhausted fighting the three of them alone. I'm impressed."

It was unusual for a mafia boss, especially an Alpha like him, to praise someone else, let alone an Omega. However, he said it with sincere feelings.

"Don't tell anyone that I fell in front of you. My reputation could be ruined, and they'll look down on me again," Noel said, holding Alastair's arm tightly to keep from falling.

Seeing how weak the man in front of him was, he decided to take him to his car so he could rest. Inside the car, Noel leaned back to rest his body.

He wanted to refuse, but his body was too weak from the fight and the Alpha's powerful pheromones.

"I'll just rest for a while. Then I'll go home."

"I'll take you home like before. I can't let you go home alone at a time like this."

Before the Omega could protest, Alastair spoke first.

"No matter how strong you are, if you're in this condition, are you sure you'll be okay if they come back?" asked the man, trying to tell Noel that he didn't need to act strong in front of him because he wouldn't look down on him.

The backrest of the car was tilted so he could lie down halfway. Alastair, who got into his car, gave him a bottle of water.

"Don't worry, I haven't opened the bottle at all. So you can drink it safely," he said.

With hesitation, Noel finally drank the water in the bottle and breathed a sigh of relief. Alastair started the car, leaving the bus stop to take him to Ashford's residence to drop him off.

He even put a plaster on the knife scratch on the brown haired man's cheek.

"You didn't have to go that far," said Noel.

"Just use it. It's just a plaster, nothing to argue about."

Seeing Noel's condition, something inside him kicked in to protect the Omega. His Alpha side seemed unwilling to let anything happen to him again.

"About earlier, it's not like me to be helped by someone. Especially asking someone to save me in a situation like that, because I always do everything myself." Noel opened his mouth with his eyes downcast.

Even though he had a reliable older brother and subordinates who could protect him, Noel didn't want to be looked down on just because he was an Omega. He wanted to prove that without them, he could protect himself.

"But thank you, even if I don't know why you helped me. That's all." He continued his sentence in a softer tone than before.

Hearing that explanation, the Alpha responded that he didn't intend to make Noel feel weak.

But he just wanted to protect the Omega, regardless of whether he was strong or not.

"I'm protecting you not because you're an Omega. But because I want to. So don't think that I'm looking down on you just because I helped you."

'You actually turn me on, but I have to hold myself for now,' thought the Alpha.

From the start, he had witnessed the fight between Noel and three others. But he chose to watch the fight first, while touching himself. He admitted that seeing Noel, who was so strong, brave, and even different from the other Omegas, turned him on.

But he knew he had to control himself at that moment, so when Doni intended to stab Noel, he could immediately save him. Luckily, his horny pheromones hadn't spread inside the car when he was aroused earlier.

His brown eyes glanced at Noel, who was closing his eyes and resting, waiting to get home. He could smell the Omega's pheromones again up close, they felt so sweet and a little sour.

From the beginning, he had been aroused by him, but Alastair knew he couldn't rush things, especially with an Omega like Noel. He didn't want his horniness to overcome his common sense and make the Omega hate him.

After 15 minutes, they finally arrived in front of the Ashford mansion. Noel got out and thanked him once again.

"Well, I guess we'll see each other again. I don't expect us to meet again, but it seems like we often meet indirectly. So that's all I can say," he said.

"I'm sure we'll meet again. Now go inside and rest before your brother kills you if he sees you in your current condition."

His thumb gently rubbed Noel's cheek, which had been scratched earlier. This took him a little by surprise, and he rubbed the back of his own neck before finally entering the Mansion area.

Having no further business there, Alastair turned his car around and drove away.

Meanwhile, one of the guards used his phone to take a photo of Alastair's license plate and sent it to someone.

"Boss, this is the same car that came last week."
