A week had passed since Alastair learned about Noel Ashford's identity. Even though he knew that his mafia group had long been at odds with the Ashford family's mafia group, he did not back down from getting closer to Omega.
He was convinced that Noel himself was unaware of this fact, let alone involved in his family's business. He also obtained other information that the Raven mafia had been led by Regis, Noel's older brother.
This was reinforced by Noel's status as an Omega, who would certainly not be allowed to be involved in any mafia business.
"So you've decided to stay close to him?" Kenneth asked him.
"Yes. My mind is made up. He's the only Omega that I find very interesting and who can definitely survive in our dark world."
The blond haired man nodded in understanding, though he still didn't understand why Noel, out of all the Omegas. Was it just because he was a tough Omega who could even fight against Betas and Alphas?
He chose not to ask any further questions.
On that day, Noel had just finished his classes and was returning home in the noon. Usually, he always came back in the evening or at night, but since his assignments were finished earlier, he could return home sooner.
As usual, he waited at the bus stop, listening to music on his headset. However, at the same time, he remembered Alastair and hoped to meet him again.
'I don't understand why I want to see him again. How stupid of me to even think about wanting something like that,' he thought at the time.
He was just curious to get to know Alpha better, and something inside him felt so attracted to Alastair because of his calm demeanor and the fact that he didn't try to belittle him.
Unlike most Alphas who considered Omegas to be nothing more than tools for their pleasure.
As he waited while listening to music, three men approached him. Two of them were Alphas and one was a Beta. Noel tried to avoid them, because he knew the three of them were troublemakers on campus.
'Fuck, why did I have to meet them here?'
"Hey Noel! What a coincidence to meet you here. Are you waiting for the bus?" asked one of them, who was actually just looking for an excuse to ask him something.
Noel turned to them and replied, "No. I'm hunting giraffes around here."
He rolled his eyes in annoyance, because he knew they were just making small talk. He was sure the three of them had planned something to pick a fight with him.
"Hey, come on! Do you really need to answer our questions so coldly?" asked the Beta man who had come with the two Alphas.
"You already know the answer, John. Then why are you still asking what I'm doing here? I don't need your stupid small talk." Once again, Noel replied in a cold and indifferent tone.
The three of them looked unhappy with the Omega's response. They felt that no Omega should be able to talk back to them like that. Especially considering that Omegas were the lowest group in their social hierarchy.
Feeling annoyed, the three of them surrounded Noel, causing him to immediately take off his headset and hang it around his neck.
His orange eyes stared sharply at them as if he was ready for whatever they were going to do. And sure enough, the two Alphas who had been staring at him with mocking looks immediately swung their fists.
Noel ducked, avoiding the blows, then kicked one of the Alphas in the leg.
THUD!
The Alpha immediately fell, hitting the ground and groaning in pain. Meanwhile, the other Alpha tried to kick Noel's face, which was low enough to be level with his knees.
"YOU DAMN OMEGA!!" he shouted.
However, the Omega easily dodged the second Alpha's kick. He then rolled to the side and positioned himself standing in front of them.
"You all suddenly showed up and attacked me! Then you hoping me not to fight back?" he asked angrily.
"Of course we can't accept an Omega who acts tough like you! Last month you even beat up Jack and his friends, and it became the talk of the campus. It's ridiculous, it's obvious that Jack and the others are just a weak group who can't fight an Omega like you!" said John, the Beta.
The three of them didn't believe it because they didn't witness the fight where Noel fought two Betas and one Alpha. That's why they came themselves to prove it, fed up with the rumors spreading around campus.
In the end, a fight broke out between three against one at the bus stop that afternoon. Since there weren't many people passing by, no one stopped their fight.
However, even though Noel was outnumbered, he was still able to beat them up.
When John tried to kick him, Noel crouched to avoid the kick and then jumped up, his head hitting the man's under chin.
"AKHHH!" John screamed in pain, feeling Noel's head hit his chin, causing his tongue to be bitten until it bled.
Not stopping there, Omega jumped onto the bus stop bench, which he used as a stepping stone to jump even higher. He kicked the head of one of the two Alphas who were attacking him, causing him to fall.
"You still don't believe in my abilities, Adam? Or do you want me to show you something else?" Noel asked, catching his breath.
Adam and his two friends fell to the ground after fighting Noel. The three of them stared at him with hatred, unwilling to accept defeat.
Adam's head had been kicked in the temple, causing a cut.
No matter how strong an Omega was, physically they were still quite weak and easily exhausted. But Noel tried to get back up, not letting his enemies see him fall.
'Damn, I'm almost out of breath. If they keep fighting, my body could collapse. I have to do something, at least get away from them,' he thought at that moment.
However, as he expected, they would not stop until they had completely defeated him. Doni, another Alpha whom he had previously kicked in the leg, now got up to attack him.
"You think we'll just back down? We won't back down until we kill you!"
Noel prepared to fight back again, his legs already trembling from exhaustion. What he didn't expect was that Doni would pull out a folding knife from his pocket.
Even his friends, Ryan and John, were shocked by Doni pulling out the knife.
"Wait, Doni! Don't go that far. We're not here to kill him!" Ryan tried to stop his friend, but Doni, consumed by hatred and anger, immediately ran towards Noel.
But Doni ignored Ryan's words and brutally attacked Noel. The brown haired man tried to dodge Doni's attacks with a folding knife, but the Alpha continued to attack him relentlessly.
Eventually, Noel grew tired from the attacks and his constant attempts to dodge. His vision began to blur, and he experienced shortness of breath. At one point, the knife even managed to scratch his cheek.
"HA! I finally managed to hurt you! A lowly Omega like you is not worthy of fighting an Alpha like us!"
Ryan and John tried to get up to stop their friend, but before Doni could actually stab Noel, they sensed a very threatening pheromone aura from someone standing behind the Omega.
The pheromones were so strong, so dark, and so intimidating that all three of them, including Noel himself, trembled upon sensing them.
He turned around, only to find an Alpha in a black suit who had been occupying his thoughts lately.
"Touch him again, and I dare you."
